Daily Lesson Plan

The lesson plan is for an 8th grade physical education class on folk dancing. The objectives are for students to learn different dance steps in 3/4 time signature and perform them properly. I. Objectives:

A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates understanding of guidelines and principles in exercise
programs design to achieve fitness.
B. Performance Standards: The learner modifies physical activity program for the family/ school peers to
achieve fitness.
C. Learning competencies/ Objectives Write the LC code for each
1. Explains the different time signature in every dance steps. (PE8RD-IVd-8 )
2. Executes the skills involved in the dance. (PE8RD-IVd-h-4)

At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:


a. Know the different dance steps in 3/4 time signature.
b. Perform with proper timing the 3/4 time signature dance steps.
c. Enjoy Philippine folk dance.
