Various consultants and professionals are added on board right from the concept stage.
Well organized system and management of standardized drawings and detailing allows

also look after the finishing and detailing of the project. The efficient engineers see
through the project on site as visualized on board.

AAPL worked on ‘Appropriate Architecture’. They evaluate each project according to

its type, functional needs, budgets, size, aesthetic demands, inclination of user and other
relevant parameters. Team conceptualize each with references to climate, context, and

Last but not the least, I would like to thank the Principal architects Vatsal Joshi, Bhavik

Answer the following questions

Q1. In the Institute internship program, faculty members are expected to be

mentors for students. Do you feel that your faculty coordinator served such a
function? Why or why not?

Ans. Yes, our faculty Ar. Gunjan Badjatya has been a true mentor for me as I was
thoroughly guided by him with all the processes and regulations.

Q2. How well were you able to accomplish the initial goals, tasks and new skills
that were set down in your learning contract?

Ans. The internship program has been very fruitful for me. It has given me a pinch of
practical knowledge of working in a firm along with some organization culture.

Q3. In what ways were you able to take a new direction or expand beyond your
contract?

Ans. As I've stated earlier, this internship has also taught me about organization
culture which I think is beyond the contract. Also, the time bound work with
precision is another thing that I have learnt.

Q4. Why were some goals not accomplished adequately?

Ans. Well, almost all the goals set on a daily basis were precisely completed. In
fact, some days the productivity was more than 100% but I still feel the final goal
hasn't been completed because of the contraction of total internship duration due
to coronavirus pandemic.
Q5. In what areas did you most develop and improve?
Ans. I have been guided by experts throughout the internship so their experience
on problem analysis and finding appropriate solutions has been really helpful. Also,
I have always had a good grasp on softwares but working for a real project was the
thing that I have done for the first time. It has developed in me a sense of
responsibility.

Q6. What has been the most significant accomplishment or satisfying moment of
your internship?

Ans. The most satisfying thing itself was working for a firm in Ahmedabad city that
has given me a sense of the real architecture world. Practical knowledge like this
wouldn't have been possible to get otherwise.

Q7. What did you dislike about the internship? Considering your
overall experience. How would you rate this internship? Give
suggestions as to how your internship experience could have been
improved.

Ans. The overall internship experience has been great. There's one thing that
I thought could've been better and that is providing different kinds of
working environments. Like, after initial weeks, sometimes there should've
been times when we had to work under extreme pressure. That has given us
an extra pinch of real-world knowledge.

I would like to rate this experience as 8.

Q8. Could you have handled added responsibility?

Ans. As I have stated in my previous answer, I could have given additional
responsibility/tougher deadline conditions after initial weeks because my performance
in initial weeks were continuously applauded. So yes I think I would have handled the
additional work smoothly.
Q9. Would you have like more discussions with your professor concerning your
internship? Was closer supervision needed?

Ans. My professor has been super helpful before and during the internship regarding
explaining all the procedures and regulations involved. So, I think a closer supervision
has already been provided by the professor.

Q10. Was more of an orientation required?

Ans. I strongly feel that whatever I have learnt and worked during internship was
totally field oriented.
