Cellphone with Android system and dedicated A2 calibration board (no need of
automated calibration)
Make sure that the vehicles are stably parked on a flat surface. It is better to have road nearby
for the convenience of test.
1. Wiring
c. Wiring
The E port of CANBOX is connected with splitter cable. Follow the following
steps to connect the electrical signal of the vehicle.
Open the dashboard of the vehicle and use the multimeter or electroprobe to pin
down BAT (JCET), ACC, and GND, along with left (L-Turn) turn light and right
(R-Turn) turn light signal wires to start wiring.
The A port of CANBOX is connected with the connector linking with one end
of DC-DC converter. The multiple-pin plug on the other end of the DC-DC converter
connects ADAS camera with the mark of CAN; the DMS camera with the
connection of multiple-pin plug is connected with ADAS camera with the end with
the mark of CAM (as presented in Figure 2).
For medium and large-sized vehicles, the ADAS camera should be installed close to the
bottom of the windshield. The location is available within 20 cm from both sides of the
central axis as presented (in Figure 3). (Note: do not be blocked by wipers.)
Figure 3 shows the installation spot for ADAS camera on the windshield of medium and large-sized
vehicles
For small-sized vehicles, ADAS camera should be installed on the upper part of the
windshield, which is at the bottom part of the rear mirror. It is available within 20 cm from
