Physical body is given by Chandra and lagna gives intelligence. (Chandra is mother and mother gives
body)

Lagna is the viveka, discriminating power, hence gives direction to the individual’s life. The graha
sitting on lagna will dominate viveka. E.g. Raavan was very intelligent but discriminating power was
bad. Therefore lagna was papa yukta i.e. conjoining malefics.

In samudra manthana, kurma avatar is in heart and he is shani. Devas and asura are churning inside
the head and Chandra are in the middle. Chandra is neutral. Perfect mana is perfectly balanced,
nothing to feel happy, nothing to feel sad. But graha dominance makes us swings. Suras cause
happiness and asura bring sadness

Su, Ju, Ma, Ke in spiritual plane are sura.

Su gives wealth, Ma gives victory, Ju gives good food, knowledge, ke gives good meditation and
happiness through them

Asura are Me (gives service/ work, greed of money, hence unhappiness), Shukra (entertainment,
physical desires, luxuries etc. Can never bring happiness), shani is the sorrow of the defeated ones,
Rahu is the shock of the cheated ones.
