Values are the ideal rules of a society that integrate emotions, activities, and cognitive elements. Values are developed through appropriate behavior, attitudes, understanding, and the ability to discriminate between right and wrong. Sources of value education include the family, school, peer groups, religion, culture and traditions of society. Effective value education can be achieved through curricular and co-curricular activities like sports, debates, discussions and role playing games.
