The course is to provide the fundamentals associated with the management of information system in a business
enterprise. Information systems are one of the major tools available
to business managers for achieving operational excellence, developing new products and services, improving
decision making, and achieving competitive advantage. This course aims to help lay the necessary foundations in
terms of the basic concepts necessary to intelligently assess/evaluate technology opportunities/alternatives to
determine optimal solutions to business problems
