 7C’s of communication

The following are the 5 traits of technical writing


Accuracy Accessibility Conciseness Clarity Audience
recognition. Also 7C’s of communication which make a
massage well written are that it should be clear concise
concrete correct coherent complete considerate.

5 Traits
Five traits of technical writing are;
 Clarity
 Conciseness
 Accessibility document design
 Audience recognition
 Accuracy

7C’s
The 7C’s stands for seven essential principles f
communication starting with C letter. Each one
represents a requirement that the message should meet
to be affective.

 Concise
 Complete
 Clear
 Concrete
 Correct
 Courteous
 Consideration
This is why the traits of technical writing and the seven
C’s of communication provide a check for making sure
that the letter are well constructed and clear.
According to traits of technical writing and 7C’s
of communication needs to be Clarity, Conciseness,
Completeness, Correctness, Concreteness, Courteous,
Consideration, Accessible document design, Audience
recognition, Accuracy.
In this letter, we look at each of the 7c’s of
communication And 5 traits.

 Clarity:
A tech writing letter needs to have single
reading that the reader can understand. So In this letter
clarity is present .To be clear, try to minimize the number
of ideas in each sentences. Make sure that its letter for
your reader to understand your meaning. Information
and action required must be clear.
For Example: unclear information on how to operate
machinery. So staying clear in the writing is good idea.

 Conciseness:
Technical writing is supposed to be clear, so
having a massive document that takes time to read will
get very hard for the reader to read. So in this letter,
concise writing is present letter is briefly explain and
never use unnecessary word and explain to the point
words.

 Accessibility:
Means the ease of which the readers can locate
the information they seek. To increase accessibility,
Include headings, reports, or a table of contents. In this
letter cannot use Headings and table of content or list of
reports so accessibility is not present in it.

 Audience Recognition:
This aspect is based around the audience, and
how well they understand the writing. Meaning that if
your audience can’t understand . The given letter is
understandable the readers can understand easily and
will read it. The sally Kate say write in this letter about
sops of COVID-19.Advised that softest solutions was
notified that an employee has tasted positive to covid19.
As an immediate response to protect the health and safty
of our work force.

 Accuracy:
Accuracy effective writing must be correct, whether
grammatically; spelling usually correct and correct
punctuation .So in this letter many mistakes are present
like spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes in it.

 Concise:
Concise means to the point without using a lot
of words. Avoid using filler words. Being concise saves
the time of both you and your reader and adds value of
your massage. In this letter conciseness is not present,
letter is briefly explained .use the repetition of sentences
and many unnecessary word in this letter .To achieve
Conciseness in our letter observe the following
suggestions.
o Remove the wordy expression in letter
o Include only relevant material
o Avoid unnecessary repetition

 Complete:
A complete massage contains all the facts
required by the reader. The reader’s reaction to
an incomplete message is often unfavorable.
Then given letter is complete provide all the
necessary information and include additional
information about sops of covid19.
 Concrete:
Communicating concretely means being
specific, meaningful and clear. it helps the receiver to
understand the exact idea .Given letter is
understandable and use clear and building words the
receiver easily understand that. In this letter use active
voice then passive voice and also use specific facts and
figures.

 Correctness:
Language experts says that writing is art but
difficult. There is no shortcut to being a good writer. The
massage being communicating must be correct.
Correctness refers to the correct grammar, punctuation
and spelling. Given letter is not completely correct
mistakes of grammar and spelling in it.
To achieve correctness follow these guideline
o Check accuracy of facts.
o Check mistakes and grammar and capitalization
o Check misspelled words.

 Clear:
A tech writing letter needs to have
single reading that the reader can understand. So In this
letter clarity is present .To be clear, try to minimize the
number of ideas in each sentences. Make sure that its
letter for your reader to understand your meaning.
Information and action required must be clear.
For Example: unclear information on how to operate
machinery. So staying clear in the writing is good idea.

 Courtesy:
Courtesy communication is friendly, open and
honest. There are no hidden insults or passive aggressive
tones. Not to use polite expressions like “thank you”,
“please”, “kindly” etc. Given letter have courtesy tone.
This letter courtesy is present ,writer is be sinker, use
expression that show respect . Be thoughtful and
appreciative of receiver’s point of view.

 Consideration:

It means preparing every message with the


message receiver in mind. To be considered the
following points should kept in mind focus on “you”
instead of “we” e.g We are delighted to inform. and
you will be glad to know. In this letter all the points are
relevant to the main topic and the tone and flow of
the text is consistent.
