Preface
Information regarding this
Manual
This Manual must be considered as an integral part of
the machine's workshop Manual. It must therefore
be kept safe using the same methods and care.
The Manual contains information regarding trouble-
shooting, and codes of the messages displayed by the
diagnostics on board by means of the multifunction
display.
The information, technical specifications and
instructions contained in this Manual must be
considered as up to date on the date of its
publication. The Manufacturer reserves the right to
make modifications to the machines, their
accessories and calibration at any time, without prior
notification. These modifications can affect the
working of the machine and its control system. It is
necessary to have the latest and complete
information before starting any operation on the
machine. Please contact your Magni Dealer for the
latest copy of this Manual.

display

A display control joystick is present to the RH of the


driver’s seat. The joystick allows the operator to
interact with the display without using the touch-
screen. The commands that can be imparted to the
mushroom-shaped joystick are as follows:
- Press one of the five buttons;
- Move the joystick forwards or backwards;
- Move the joystick to the RH or LH;
- Rotate the joystick around its axis;
- Press the joystick downwards.
To move between the sections of a page, move the
joystick forwards or backwards. The section of the
page selected is highlighted in electric blue, as shown
figure 1 at the bottom.
Rotate the joystick clockwise or counter clockwise to
select the buttons in the current section of the page.

The on board diagnostics master I-O page contains


information regarding the state of some of the sets of

signals, both analog and digital, concerning the
general working of the machine.
The group of green indicator lights includes digital
Master I-O page signals. The green light comes on to indicate that the
corresponding signal has been received correctly or
sent by the control unit.
The ATD X indicators shown below include analog
signals. The numeric indication alongside each label
corresponds to the intensity of the corresponding
analog signal, expressed in Volt.

Alarms page In case of a fault or malfunctioning, the alarm page


icon starts flashing between the two states of figure

At the top of the page an alarm is displayed indicating
that scheduled servicing is required. In normal
operating conditions, the message shown in figure 11
is Off.
The alarm codes concerning the diesel engine are
displayed at the centre of the alarms page.
In case of a number of simultaneous errors, the
corresponding codes are shown in the boxes
numbered SpnX and FmiX, with X from 1 to 5.
In case of single error, codes Spn and Fmi are shown
in the DM1 ENGINE section.
General alarms, those of the roll-over protection
control unit and those of the transmission are
displayed at the bottom of the page.
