Experiment No. 3: Even and Odd Signals

The document describes an experiment to manipulate even and odd signals using MATLAB. It defines even and odd signals, with even signals being symmetric around the vertical axis and odd signals being symmetric about the origin. The objectives are to write MATLAB code to find the even and odd parts of a signal, reconstruct the original signal, and perform convolution of discrete time signals using the flip and slide method.

THEORY
Even signals are symmetric around vertical axis, and Odd signals are symmetric about origin.
Even Signal: A signal is referred to as an even if it is identical to its time-reversed counterparts;
x(t) = x(-t).
Odd Signal: A signal is odd if x(t) = -x(-t)
1. Write the MATLAB code to find even and odd part of signal and also reconstruct the original
signal.
2. Write the code for flip and slide method to perform convolution of discrete time signal.
