Processing Questions:
1. What is the implication of the different kinds of worldviews to existing religions today?
Having different kinds of worldviews has made all of the religions today, as humans perceive
things in various ways, they created distinct religions that will satisfy their viewpoint. However,
several religions have been in schism because of their disparity in understanding their doctrines
or belief. In Christianity, many Christians come from different denominations like the Catholic
Church, Orthodox Church, Lutherans, and many more as they have a unique interpretation of
what they believe. Even though their belief based on Jesus and his apostles, and the doctrines
and traditions of the early church, their different discernment made them into disunion. Thus, we
can say that having different worldviews put religions into separation.
Humans tend to believe in what they only understand through their senses. They will only base
on their perspective rather than the other. And as worldview stands for, it can have a positive
and negative outlook. It can influence one’s faith in how it can perceive an idea or belief, on how
it can convey its meaning. By this, he or she can choose what to believe as it will complicate
things if he or she does not prefer what to trust.
