Interview Guide

An in-person job interview involves a face-to-face conversation between an employer and applicant where they each learn about the other. The employer evaluates the applicant's qualifications and fit for the role while the applicant learns about the job responsibilities and company culture. Successful interviews require preparation from both sides. Applicants should research the company, dress professionally, arrive early, and come prepared with questions. Employers may ask about work history, skills, goals, strengths, weaknesses, accomplishments, and how the applicant addressed challenges. Behavioral questions also explore how applicants handled past work situations.

FACE-TO-FACE INTERVIEW

INTERVIEW
- According to International Hellenic University, an interview is a conversation
between a potential employer and an applicant. During the process, the employer
is appraising the qualifications, appearance and general fitness for the job.
Likewise, the applicant also has the opportunity to learn more about the position,
the responsibilities, appraise the employer and find if the needs and interest will
be met. The process is a two-way street, traveling toward a goal of having the
right job and the employer towards the goal of hiring right.
