3R’s Recycling Poster Using Helping Verbs

1. Learning Objectives:
Students will be able to :
 identify and know what helping verbs are;
 use them in sentence writing;
 enrich their vocabulary and
 increase students creativity.

2. Instructions:
 Project will be conducted in class under the teacher’s supervision on the (7th
Sept 2020 – 11th Sept 2020).
 This project is an individual project.
 Students must state the details as below for the project that they are doing.
 Students will cut and paste the pictures recycling objects onto an A3 sized paper
 Every A3 sized paper must contain 3 pictures for 3 columns, each with a
sentence describing the term of reuse,reduce and recycle.
 Students are allowed to decorate their project paper according to their
creativity.
 Students must provide an interesting title for their poster.
 Finally, list at least 5 ways of caring for the environment using helping verbs such
as should, ought to,since,and for and do ashort presentation.

3. Materials needed:
9 Pictures of recycled objects for the 3R’s recycling poster
 1 sheet of A3 paper
 Coloured A4 papers
 Colour pencils / coloured pens / crayons
 Glue
 Scissors
 Decorative materials according to student’s creativity
4. Duration:
 Project starts : 7th Sept 2020
 Project submission : 11 th Sept 2020

5. Mark tabulation
Marks will be given according to the criteria below:

Creativity and tidiness 10
