Kayangan Lake, dubbed the 'cleanest lake in the Philippines', is surrounded by a
karst scenery of limestone cliffs and guarded maintained by Tagbanua tribesmen.

SUBTERRANEAN RIVER NATIONAL PARK
This park features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with an underground
river. One of the river's distinguishing features is that it emerges directly into the
sea, and its lower portion is subject to tidal influences. The area also represents a

extracted from wood. To harvest woodworms, people can head to swampy
forests in these Filipino regions and hunt for them in dead tree trunks, logs, and

The dish is made out of small shrimps caught in streams, mixed with young
coconut and chili. It is then wrapped in coconut leaves, giving it that local touch.
