Click right click.
Fig. 2
Steps:
 Use the rectangle tool and specify first corner as (0,0) and second corner as (60,100).
 Using the rectangle tool, specify first corner as (3,3) and second corner as (29,19).
 Using the rectangle tool, specify first corner as (3,21) and second corner as (29,37).
 Using the rectangle tool, specify first corner as (3,39) and second corner as (29,55).
 Using the rectangle tool, specify first corner as (3,97) and second corner as (29,85). Click
right click.
 Highlight the four small rectangles inside the large rectangle. Click the mirror tool and click
(30,50) and click again on (30,60). Keep original and OK.
 Use the 2 points line tool and click on (0,57) and (60,57). right click.
 Use the 2 points line tool and click on (3,59) and then (57,59) and then (57,83) and then
(3,83) and then connect again to (3,59). double right click.
 There are two types of lines to use either:
 (a)Click the angle tool and set it as 45 degrees with length as 100 and snap point set
in middle. Or
 (b) Set it as 135 degrees with length as 100 and snap point set in middle.
 Using type (a) click on (29,83), (31,83), (17,59), (19,59), (5,83), (7,83), (17,83), (19,83).
 Using type (b) click on (29,59), (31,59), (17,59), (19,59), (17,83), (19,83), (5,59), (7,59).
 After plotting all the lines, click right click.
 Use the 2 points line tool and click on (30,83) and (30,59). double right click.
 Use the trim tool and trim all the excess lines going out of the following rectangle and the
diamond shapes inside the lines. Use 2 points line tool to reconnect the lines that were
erased during the trimming.

It will result into

 Now highlight all the diagonal lines inside that rectangle.
 Click the mirror tool and click on (30,71) and then on (30,72). Keep original and OK.
 Remove the vertical line in between them
 Use the 2 points line tool and specify first point as (80,0), specify next point as (130,0),
specify next point as (130, 57), specify next point as (110,57), specify next point as

E. Discussion.
1. What have you learned in this laboratory #3 exercise?
I learned how to effectively make use of the command box in the bottom right to write out the specific
coordinates that is the result of adding or subtracting the measurements presented in the example. It is really
useful so there’s no need to zoom in super close sometimes to get to the decimal levels. I also learned how
to properly use the mirror tool.

2. Are all the commands discussed above helps you to complete all the figures? Explain.
Yes. The commands are enough to help me complete all the figures. At first I didn’t know how to make use
of the mirror tool but by just experimenting, I discovered its usefulness into making objects especially when
symmetrical.

3. What are the strategies you did in the completion of the final drawing?
Like I mentioned, The mirror tool is very helpful and helped me reduce my time making the figure 2
especially since it is symmetrical. After learning how it works, it helped me make twice as much shapes just
by mirroring the object presented.
