- No they don’t because they don’t correspond exactly to physical disks.

- The type of file system that need to have a partition that windows files are installed on use
is a window partition file that is installed with NFTS.

3) What default installation folders contain system and application files that should not normally
be deleted or modified manually?

- The system and applications that should not normally be deleted or modified manually are
the windows folder and user folder.

4) What is the file path to the Documents folder for a user named "David," assuming Windows is
installed to a hard disk with a single partition using the default settings?

- The file path is = C:\ User\David\Documents

5) How is a Windows library different from a folder?

- Difference between the two is that a windows library is a big folder with a multiple folders
but when it access the files all the folders are gone and can only see the files inside the
folder.

6) If you have made changes to a file and want to keep both the original file and the modified
version, what command should you use?

- The command that is going to be used in making a change to a file and wanted it to keep
both original files and modified version is the SAVE AS command.

7) Why should you be more careful about deleting files from a USB flash drive than from the main
hard drive?

- We should be careful is the documents being edited because it can’t be retrieved but in the
main hard drive when deleting a documents it will be on the recycling bin and can still be
retrieve or completely deleted there.

- You can use to show a files of a particular type sorted by date via filtering them by sorting by
date or the last files that was modified.

9) What kind of data would you expect to find in a file with a TIFF extension?

- The kind of data that will be expected to find a file with a TIFF extension are the image file
types.

10) What is a zip file?

- A zip file is a compressed file that has either have a single file or multiple files in a one zip
file.
