I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

1. Identify the benefits of Hip-hop Aerobics.


2. Execute correctly the basic steps of Hip-hop Aerobics.
3. Perform simple Hip-hop Aerobic routine to improve cardiovascular endurance.

II. Subject Matter

a. Topic: Hip-Hop Aerobics

b. Reference: Physical Education and Health (pages 91-93)


c. Materials: LCD projector and Laptop with PowerPoint presentation loaded,
Portable Speaker

d. Value Focus: Aesthetic Value, Bodily-Kinesthetic


e. Multiple Intelligences: Existentialism, Spiritual, Interpersonal, Visual, Linguistic,
Bodily-Kinesthetic, Aesthetic value.

the basics of Hip-hop, you are going to
have a little game. I have here a box.
Inside the box are the lists of basic
movements of Hip-hop.
What you are going to do, is to pass the
box to the person next to you, I’m going
to play music and when the music stops Yes Sir.
you are going to pick one Hip-hop
movement and execute it in front.

IV. Evaluation

For your activity, you are going to create a


hip-hop routine with your own
combination of basic steps. You will be
group into 4 and will be given 10 minutes (Every group will perform the activity and
