EPSON LX-310 Printer Installation and Setting

Step-I
Down load Printer driver From link EPSON LX-310 Printer driver from IT help and save the file in to a
folder.

Extract the file.

Open the folder named LX-310_EN_Vol10.

Double click on “InstallNavi.exe.

Select “I agree to the contents of the License Agreement”

Click “Next”

Untick “Epson Status Monitor”.

Click “Install”

Now “Epson Printer Utilities Setup “ menu will Pop-up.

Select “Manual”

Select “LPT1” as Current port.

Click “OK” (In windows XP machine a pop up message may come, then Click “Continue any way”
button.)

A Message “Installation was successfully completed” will come.

Click “Finish”.

Step-II
Go to Devices and Printers or Printers and Faxes through “Start” button.

Make EPSON LX-310 ESC/P as default printer By Right click on the Icon and select “select as Default
printer”.

Select “EPSON LX-310 ESC/P”

Select “Print Server Properties”. ( In windows XP machine Right Click on the blank space and select
“Server Properties”).
Select Tab “Forms”.

Select “Create a new form”

Give Form name as “CASBA Challan”

Select Unit as “English”

Set Paper width 9.01 in

Set paper Height 3.00 in

Keep all Printer area margin as “Zero”

Click “Save form” button

Click “ OK”.

Step-III.
Right click on the “EPSON LX-310 ESC/P Icon” and select “Printing preferences”.

Select “ Lay out “ tab.

Go to “Advanced”.

Select Paper size as “CASBA Challan”

Now a Message will pop up as “The selected paper size exeeds the guaranteed printable area. Use at
your own risk”

Click “OK”

Select Print quality “120x144 dots per inch”

Click “OK”.

Step-IV
Install latest Mozilla Firefox in Cashier’s Machine. (Download from the link available in IT help).
Step – V
i) Open Mozilla Firefox.

ii) Click Alt + F.

iii) Click “Page Setup”

iv) The following window is displayed. Make the changes as shown below.
v) Now Select “Margins & Header/Footer”

vi) Now set the Margins as shown below based on the Printer Type available in the branch.

Step – VI
i) Open Mozilla Firefox.

ii) Click Alt + T

iii) Click Options


iv) Now select “Content” and enable Pop-Ups as shown below.
