Vibration Analysis Survey Report For 421 FN 2 (Bag House Fan)

This vibration analysis report examines the vibration of a bag house fan used in a raw mill operation. Analysis found abnormal vibration in the fan's bearings and synchronous energy in the horizontal direction. There is a high dominant peak indicating unbalance likely due to coating/dust buildup on the fan impeller. The report recommends cleaning the fan before balancing, replacing the bearing lube oil, and addressing issues as the fan vibration is in an unsatisfactory range according to standards. Spectrums are provided showing the vibration levels and dominant frequency.

Vibration Analysis Survey Report

For
421 FN 2 ( BAG HOUSE FAN )
421 FN 2 RAW MILL BAG HOUSE VIBRATION ANNALYSIS REPORT

Route RAW MILL

Machine ID 421 FN 2
Machine Description BAG HOUSE FAN

Job Description

Vibration check was based on routine condition monitoring survey.

CM Analysis

 Found abnormal vibration on fan both end bearings and synchronous energy in
horizontal direction.
 High Dominant peak at first order 1X with a sinusoidal waveform is clearly an indication
of unbalance symptoms of fan. There may be coating/dust build up on fan impeller.
 Fan both end bearings are normal in operation.
 Detailed summary of spectrums and vibration summary is given below.

Recommendation
Following are Recommended based on above analysis :

 Stop the fan and look for its cleaning or any wear tear.
 Cleaning must be removed properly before attempting dynamic balancing.
 Replace the Fan both end bearings Lube oil.
 According to ISO 10816 Vibration severity standard fan is running in unsatisfactory
region.

Following are the readings of cement mills Renk Gearboxes vibration tripping limits
of CCR. If one of them reach to this specific vibration ( limit ) or exceed then Cement
Mill will be tripped.

Gear Box Sensors CCR Vibration tripping limit ( HH )

Input Stage : 2.5 mm/sec or more
Planetary -1 : 1.2 mm/sec or more
Planetary -2: 1.0 mm/sec or more
Foundation : 0.8 mm/sec or more

Observations:

 Observed almost similar vibration readings of both cement mills in CCR and
vibration Analyzer CSI- 2130 highlighted above.

 No any severe abnormality found in spectrums and waveforms.

 Keep it under observation by measures of gearboxesLube oil and overall

vibration trend more frequently.
