for Power, Energy and Control
(19th Dec to 22ndDecember 2021)
STPEC 2021 will be Organized in Hybrid Mode (In-Person & Online)
The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Smart Technologies for Power, Energy and
Control (STPEC 2021) will be held in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,
Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, during 19th to 22ndDecember 2021. The
conference is Financially Co-sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) and IEEE
Power Electronics Society (PELS) & Technically Co-sponsored by IEEE Industrial Electronics
Society (IES) and IEEEE Bombay Section. It will be jointly organized by IEEE Bombay Section
Joint Chapter of PELS/IES and Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur, C.G. India.

The objective of the conference is to offer a platform for electrical as well as electronics
and computer science engineers and researchers to present their research work and to share
experiences and ideas in the area of power, energy, control, communication and related
engineering applications. The conference program will be having plenary sessions, technical
paper presentations and poster presentations. Distinguished speakers will be invited to deliver
keynote speeches on emerging technologies in power, energy and control engineering.

Focus areas of the conference are Power Electronic Converters and their control, Smart
Grid Technology, Renewable Energy Sources, Distributed Generation and Grid Interconnection,
Electric Vehicles, Energy Storage & Battery Charging techniques, FACTS devices, Power
Quality, Wide band gap devices, Control systems, Power System and its application to power
and energy, signal processing applications in power and energy, semiconductor devices and
circuits, artificial intelligence, neural networks, cloud computing, computer network and
distributed technology, etc.

Due to Current Pandemic situation, STPEC 2021 is planned in Hybrid Mode.


Prospective authors are invited to submit a maximum of 6 pages full paper on the
following tracks (but not limited to):

 Power Systems and Smart Grids


 Electrical Machines and Drives
 Power Electronic Converters
 Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Systems
 Transportation Electrification and Automotive Technologies
 Control Systems and Applications
 Machine Learning & Signal Processing in Power & Energy Applications
 Semiconductor Devices and Circuits
 Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks in Power & Energy Applications
 Cloud computing and Internet of Things in Power & Energy Applications
 Computer Network, Distributed Technology and Image Processing in Power & Energy
Applications

Submission Guidelines:
IEEE STPEC 2021 invites researchers, students and industry professionals from all over
world to submit unpublished and original work for consideration to be presented at the
conference. A peer review process will be used to evaluate all the submitted papers
through the suitable conference management tool. Paper submission is limited to
Maximum Six Pages including figures and references.

All submitted papers will go through a plagiarism check. Papers with similarity scores
of 30% or above are liable to be rejected without further review.

Important Deadlines:
Paper submission opens: 01st April 2021
Deadline for full paper submission: 30th July 2021 15th August 2021
Notification of acceptance: 31st August 2021 15th September 2021
Registration opens: 15th October 2021
Deadline for Early Bird Registration: 01 Nov 2021
Deadline for camera ready paper submission: 01 Nov 2021

Publication: All papers presented in the conference will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore
for possible inclusion and all the presented papers will be eligible for further review to be
published in the IEEE Transaction on Industry Applications or IEEE IAS Magazine.

Registration Fees:
 At least one author of each accepted paper must register at Full Fee (Academician/
Scientists/ Foreign Authors/ Industry Person) before the deadline for the paper to be
presented in the conference and inclusion in IEEE Xplore.
 Each Full Registration with full fee is entitled to present/publish up to a maximum of
two papers.
 Student registrations are not considered as full fee, such paper is allowed for
presentation in the conference but it will not be considered for publication in IEEE
Xplore.
 The manuscripts may contain a maximum of six pages. Manuscripts in excess of six
pages will not be considered for further processing.

Full registration includes: Access to tutorials (on prior booking only), all the conference
sessions, conference registration kit, working lunches (for three days), coffee breaks, gala
dinner and inclusion of presented papers in IEEE Xplore.

Student registration includes: Access to tutorials (on prior booking only), all the
conference sessions, conference student registration kit, working lunches (for three
days), coffee breaks and gala dinner. Students must provide valid proof (copy of valid
student ID card or letter from their institution or program director) by e-mail when
submitting their registration and payment. Registration will not be effective until the
validity of this document is confirmed.

Delegates & Non-presenting Authors registration include: Access to plenary sessions


(on prior booking only), all the conference sessions, working lunches (for three days)
and coffee breaks.

Tutorial Fees includes: Only access to all tutorials and working lunch on the day of
tutorial.

 The Sponsor organization will get complimentary registration for 4 delegates.
