Good Afternoon teachers, my dear friends and my loving juniors. This is a pivotal point in my life
as I stand on the threshold of my last academic year in ABC Public School. I thank everyone for
having faith in my abilities and for electing me as the Head Girl of the school. I am overwhelmed
as I reminisce the last fourteen years spent by me in the school. I still vividly remember my first
day in school, the play area where I used to play and the school library which has enriched my
knowledge throughout.
Throughout these fourteen years, the School has not only provided me education and shaped my
personality for better, it has also sown in me the seeds of team spirit ,leadership skills and strong
determination. It has taught me to find opportunity in every difficulty, to deal with failure and
success in a humble manner and to stand up for what is right.

I will always cherish the memories of the time that I have spent in the school. From Club
meetings to inter house competitions and inter school events, Sports Days to Annual Concerts, all
occupy a special place in my album of memories. I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt
gratitude to all our teachers to whom we are indebted for teaching us not only academic lessons
but also lessons for life .

I would like to thank my juniors for their enthusiastic efforts in organizing such a wonderful
farewell party. I hope you will uphold the ideals of our institution and work for it with dedication
and sincerity.

I plan to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in the future. As I conclude my speech, I would like to
thank our Principal for her constant support and guidance, all the teachers for who I am today
because of their unwavering faith in my abilities. Last but not the least I would take this
opportunity to thank all the members of the Student Council without whose support my tenure
would not have been successful.
