Mini project for computer science 4th year.

 Read instruction.
 Do your project by 1-5 groups.
 Maximum mark for your project is 40% documentation 25%,
presentation 15%.
 Submit your project only by softcopy through my email

Documentation 29/4/2015 presentation 9/5/2015 after deadline I
never consideryour project risk is to you.
 Use class A IP address When you configure server, IP address
range, start IP address 10.10.10.3 end IP address, 10.10.10.10 ,
Exclusive IP address 10.10.10.8 – 10.10.10.9.
 Screenshot each step and explain it.
 In your project if there is introduction, summary, objective,
significance, and recommendation of project it’s much better and
it have their own value.
Project 1 installs Server 2008/2012/2003
1. Create two organization unit Harambe adama main campus and
Harambe mexico campus and make sure that client computer joined the
Group
2. Create two group Group 1 CS group 2 FBE.
3. Create user and password for the two user Chala and Tola in group1
two user kedir and Abdi in group2 and make sure that client computer
joined to the Group.
3. Join the client computer to the domain HU.local.
4. Add user shamble and kebeda to CS by client computer.
5. Secure your server by using firewall.
6. Create the privileges to change their passwords at first login for user
kedir.
7. Deploy printer by GPO (group policy).
8. Allow chala user can print only 10 single papers.
9. Create folder computer science Department on the server computer and
share this folder to client for the group.
10. chala user doesn’t access folder Saturday and Sunday.
11. Deny user shamble only can use computer Monday 2:30Am – Friday
11:00 AM local time.
12. Allow chala user can print only 10 single papers
13. Share network printer.

Project 2 Linux ubuntu


1. Create folder one computer Science Department folder two by your
name.
2. Copy folder that created by your name into computer science
department
3. Create file that contain about your biography.
4. Copy this file (file that contain about your biography) into folder that
you created by your name.
5. Share computer science department folder to client or local network.
6. Make it any one has no permission to edit and delete this file.
7. Create local drive on client.

Hint: - In order to share your file to client/ local network first you
must install samba server.
