SAQ-1: What is the value of recognizing Mindanao literary artists and their works?
To understand their traditions, culture and history, Mindanao portrayed as
Landlessness, war and displacement, we can understand and know if we
recognize Mindanao, those themes are portrayed Mindanao because of its
history that many invaders want to claimed the land from the Spaniards to
Americans, and led to war, and displacement, and the value of recognizing
Mindanao’s literature is to honor and appreciate and also to understand.
SAQ-2: How can you contribute to the promotion on Mindanao literature?
Well I will learned first the art of literature, and become a journalist, I have
experienced writing for journals if I can achieved higher then I can contribute
for the promotion of Mindanao literature.

What was life like for the people who lived in such a house?
Nice and great I guess and I guess their happy too for having that kind of
house.

Because it happens in Mindanao and like in the story said that “lo, one day
your husband was transported to san Ramon penal farm, Zamboanga and also
the story is striking for the degree to which that world, a Tausug Muslim
world, exists as a discrete entity. (Almost all Tausug Muslim live in
Mindanao).
2. Which of the common themes of contemporary Mindanao literature is explored in this short story?
Landlessness, War and Displacement are all found in the story and in the story
“Your husband was transported to San Ramon penal farm” this was a
displacement, “He had raised his hand against the Christian government. He
has wished to established his own government” this is war and “His lands too
were confiscated” this is Landlessness.

suggest they are not meant to be because they are not equal status.

SAQ-1: What is the value of recognizing the Zamboangueño literary artist and their works?
Recognizing the Zamboangueño literary artist and their works is important so
we can understand their traditions and cultures and history, so we can know
what Zamboangueños are so we can appreciate and honor their works.
SAQ-2: How can you can contribute to the promotion of literatures from Zamboanga city?
Is the same reason that I will do for promoting the literature of Mindanao,
joined journalisms and make poetry about Zamboanga to promote their
literature and to honor our City.

What are you thinking? Thinking that my son was upset because I didn’t
stand up for myself and Just let Tomas bullied me.
And I wanted to say sorry to my son.
What are you feeling? I was angry and humiliated in front of my friends and
especially in front of my son.
What are you seeing? I am seeing that my son is upset because he must
have been hurt because he saw me bullied by
someone.
What are you saying? I’m saying that I must say sorry to my son or I should
just punch Tomas really hard in the face but that just
won’t change anything.
What are you doing? I was giving my son Chu a puppy and after we will
go home and explain to him why I didn’t fight
because it just not worth it and it doesn’t changed the
fact that Leal won’t come back to life.
