SITE AND FEASIBILITY
For ski resorts, snow is one of the main attractions in winter resorts in western
countries. Unlike in the Philippines, other countries typically benchmark their
design on winter sports and activities. That is why the development of mountain
sites is a particularly challenging endeavor.
The overall feasibility of the site is a function of four factors:
1. Scope and attractiveness of the site.
2. Access and proximity to the markets.
3. Environmental limitations.
4. Unusual site-specific costs.
