PLC Examples

This document provides instructions for creating PLC ladder logic programs to control various industrial processes. It includes examples of controlling a motor in forward and reverse, heating liquid in a tank using sensors and valves, filling two tanks according to priority using level sensors and inlet valves, mixing in a tank by running a motor for one minute and then draining it, and automatically opening and closing doors. The focus is on implementing these applications using ladder diagram programming in a PLC.

Make the example ladder logic to control the motor in forward and reverse directions using PLC Programming

Controlling the heating process for the liquid in the tank. Implement a PLC program for this application
using ladder diagram language where two sensors are used for level measurement in the tank, the heater is
used for material heating purposes in the tank and Two valves are used for material inlet and outlet. Inlet
valve is used for feeding the tank and the outlet valve is for discharging the tank where the material
temperature reaches 80 (the temperature sensor can withstand 200𝑜𝑜 and it gives voltage from 0 to 10 volts).
Write the PLC program for two tanks filling as per priority. Design the PLC Ladder Logic programming for this
application where four sensors are used for level measurement in the tanks and Two valves are used for material inlet
Create a ladder diagram for controlling a batch mixing process. Implement a PLC program for the mixing tank or
Mixing Process using PLC Ladder Logic. The motor is permitted to run for 1 minute. After 1 minute has elapsed, the
motor turns off and solenoid C energizes to drain the tank
Implement logic for the automatic door open & close system in PLC using ladder diagram programming
language.
