INTRODUCTION
TRAVEL EXPERTS” [Travel Packages and
More]

The World Wide Web (WWW) was created in 1989 by the British
CERN computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee On 30 April 1993, CERN
announced that the World Wide Web would be free to use for anyone,
contributing to the immense growth of the Web.

Web Development is a broad term for the work involved in developing


a website for the Internet or an Intranet (a private network). Web
development can range from developing the simplest static single page
of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications,
electronic businesses, and social network services. Using Web
development, we can design different types of websites and web
applications. A more comprehensive list of tasks to which web
development commonly refers may include web engineering, web
design, web content development, client liaison, and e-commerce
development. Among web professionals, "web development" usually
refers to the main non-design aspects of building websites: writing
markup and coding.

The travel sites are to make it easier for people to plan and book their
trips. It provides a wide range of services, from helping you find the
best deals on flights and hotels, to providing detailed information about
destinations around the world. With these tools at your disposal, you
can easily compare prices and amenities between different locations so
that you can get the most out of your trip.

This website, according to the tour packages provides services like


online booking facilities for all packages and hotel registration to the
customer. In this project, users can easily understand and categorize
their holiday packages by their comfort.

Objective Of TRAVEL EXPERTS” [Travel
Packages and More]

Travel Experts is a very user-friendly project. In this project,


users can easily understand and book all packages and also
register for their own categorized packages. In this project,
there are various types of forms, like all types of packages,
books for the package, and a sight-seeing page in which the
user can insert his personal needs & facilities and then upload
his form by which the user can register on the website. This
system provides Online Registration, Tour Package
Information, Sightseeing bookings, and all other destinations.

The purpose of this project is that very clear user can find
their own categories packages easily & able to get travel
agent services very easily. Customers can register on the
website & can create their own registration then they can
receive an email for their booking status related to their
reservation and book all packages.

The Main Goal of this project is to provide very faster for


finding a package that is comfortable and easy for them. It
makes booking services for different types of packages so
any user can get this service very easily. Our objective is to
make a strong relationship with customers so that they can
enjoy the holiday of their dreams.

Features Of TRAVEL EXPERTS” [Travel
Packages and More]

The project ‘Travel Experts’ is developed to replace the currently


existing system, which helps in keeping records of the customer,
details of destination as well as payment received. It saves a precious
asset that is time, and also accuracy, reliability, and uniformity can
be maintained. This project is useful for the manager of the company
as it helps them to search the data faster than the existing system, to
get customer records easily, and to report the customer payment, etc.
are generated as per requirement.

Details of different types of tours which include tours like family


tours, couple tours, general tours, date and time of departure, and the
fair of the tours, etc. are maintained. Through this site, we can
provide different types of travel packages to customers. These sites
provide everything related to their itineraries.

Special Features of Tour and Travels:

• Itineraries: Itineraries are one of the best ways to attract


customers and it gives point to the point information.

• Customized Packages: The website also has a feature of


customizing packages on its own. It rises ups the comfort
level and is a great feature for a huge family.

• Travel Agent: The website also provides you with agent


facilities that make your task easy and enjoyable to go
with.

• Great Deals: A user can take advantage of earning a


great discount and superb deals on the packages.

• Upgradable Packages: User can itself upgrade their


packages which is user friendly services.

Methodology

Steps that can be included in the methodology:


• Planning and Conceptualization: The first step is to plan and
conceptualize the website. This includes defining the website’s
objectives, targetaudience, needs of users, itinerary planning,
and faster services.

• Prototyping: Once the website concept is established, the


team can create aprototype to test the basic functionalities.
This prototype can be used to get feedback from early users
and admin handlers and make necessary adjustments.

• Development: After the prototype is approved, the


development team can start working on the full website,
including creating the tour packages of different places,
sightseeing bookings, and customization access for the users.
This stage can be iterative, with regular testing and
adjustments made as necessary.

• Testing: Testing is an essential part of any web development.


The website should be tested to ensure it is working, stable,
and free of bugs or glitches.Testing can be done by the
development team, users, or both.

• Maintenance: Maintenance of the website is an ongoing


process. The teamshould be prepared to address any issues
that arise and provide regular updates to keep the website
fresh and engaging for the users.

Modules that are present in a Travel website:

1. Home page: Also known as the landing or main page of


the website where everything seems to be easy to handle.
2. Packages page: On this page, the user can able to check
the numerous packages made by the admin and is able to
book them.
3. Sightseeing: This page lets the user check on the
sightseeing places where they can book adventure parks
or places by knowing their availability and timings.
4. User dashboard: The user dashboard is the page where
people can handle their own profile by themselves and
manage other stuff on the website.
5. Registration/Login: This page allows the user to become
a part of the travel experts where they can get more access
to handle their searches.
6. Reviews: This page includes testimonials where user can
read other users’ review and gets an idea about our
services.
7. Blogs: The itinerary and blogs page is one of the most
useful pages where users can read about how days going
to be spent on a tour and which sightseeing is involved.

Software Requirements: -
• Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio: - Visual Studio is an integrated development


environment (IDE) created by Microsoft that is used to develop
computer programs, websites, and mobile applications. It provides a
range of tools and features to help developers write, debug, and test
code in a variety of programming languages, including C#,C++,
JavaScript, and Python. Visual Studio includes a code editor with
features such as syntax highlighting, auto-completion, and debugging
capabilities. It also includes a visual designer to create user interfaces
for applications, as well as a range of debugging and testing tools to
ensure the quality of the code.
Additionally, Visual Studio provides integration with other Microsoft
tools such as Azure and Office, making it a powerful and versatile
platform for software development.

Systems Diagram

Data Flow Diagram

DFD is the abbreviation for Data Flow Diagram. The flow of data
of a system ora process is represented by DFD. It also gives insight
into the inputs and outputs of each entity and the process itself.
DFD does not have control flow and no loops or decision rules are
present. Specific operations depending on the type of data can be
explained by a flowchart. Data Flow Diagram can be represented in
several ways. The DFD belongs to structured-analysis modelling
tools. Data Flow diagrams are very popular because they help us to
visualize the major stepsand data involved in software-system
processes.

Data Flow Diagram Symbol

1. Process: -

Input to output transformation in a system takes place because of


process function. The symbols of a process are rectangular with
rounded corners, oval,rectangle or a circle. The process is named
a short sentence, in one word or a phrase to express its essence.

2. Entity: -

Entity is an object of the system. A source destination data of a


system.

3. DataFlow: -

Data flow describes the information transferring between different


parts of the systems. The arrow symbol is the symbol of data flow.
A relatable name shouldbe given to the flow to determine the
information which is being moved. Data flow also represents
material along with information that is being moved.
Material shifts are modelled in systems that are not merely
informative. A givenflow should only transfer a single type of
information. The direction of flow is represented by the arrow which
can also be bi-directional.

4. warehouse: -

The data is stored in the warehouse for later use. Two horizontal
lines represent the symbol of the store. The warehouse is simply not
restricted to being a data file rather it can be anything like a folder

with documents, an optical disc, a filingcabinet. The data warehouse
can be viewed independent of its implementation.
When the data flow from the warehouse it is considered as
data reading andwhen data flows to the warehouse it is called
data entry or data updating.

Levels in DFD are: -

• Zero Level DFD: - It is also known as a context diagram. It’s


designed to be an abstraction view, showing the system as a
single process with its relationship to external entities. It
represents the entire system as a single bubble with input and
output data indicated by incoming/outgoing arrows.

• 1-Level DFD: - In 1-level DFD, the context diagram is


decomposed into multiple bubbles/processes. In this level, we
highlight the main functions ofthe system and breakdown the
high-level process of 0-level DFD into subprocesses.

• 2-Level DFD: - 2-level DFD goes one step deeper into parts of
1-level DFD. It can be used to plan or record the
specific/necessary detail about thesystem’s functioning.

Future Scope

The future scope of travel experts is quite broad, as technology


continuesto advance and new platforms emerge like hotel
management. Here are a few potential future developments in the
travel genre:
• More Advanced Customization: There can be more
advanced customization like adding transportation pick-up
and drop along with a hotel booking facility as per the days
spent.
• International Blogs and Bookings: The website can be
enhanced with international blogs and their booking system. It
makes more ease for users who wants to travel the world.
• Sightseeing: More sightseeing places, waterparks, and
adventure parks can be added to making your trip more
enjoyable and memorable.

Conclusion

The project ‘Travel Experts’ is developed to replace the currently
