RESEARCH PROJECT

FINAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINE (30%)

The way information is presented is up to the group within these following guidelines:

1. All material must be prepared by the students.


2. The students may bring copies of the short paper and slides to the presentation for their personal
reference and not for evaluation and judgments.
3. A personal laptop should be used for the presentation.
4. All materials, equipment, supplies, etc. must be provided by the students.
5. Only materials that can be easily carried to and from the presentation areas by the teams will be
permitted. Only the students may handle and set up their materials. No outside assistance will be
allowed.
6. Materials appropriate to the situation may be handed to or left with the judge. Items of monetary
value may be handed to but may not be left with judges. Items such as flyers, brochures,
pamphlets and business cards may be handed to or left with the panel. No food or drinks allowed.
7. Participants will have up to fifteen (15) minutes to present their proposal and answer questions
from the panel.
8. When using a presentation aid, such as a laptop computer, the noise level must be kept at a
conversational level.
9. Remember you need to provide slides using Power-Point, therefore, avoid copying and paste your
paragraphs into your slides.
10. Please ensure that your slide is not more than 15 pages.
11. Ensure you put slides number. (Starting from 2nd slides)

The information must be included to the slides are as follow:

1) Title, Name of the presenter, Lecturer name, supervisor name, and your program must be included in
the first slide.

2) The logo of MSU and the title of the event also must be included in the first slide.

4) The rests of the necessary information are as follows:

- Introduction
- Problem statement
- Research questions and objectives
- Literature review ( you can only provide some of the papers that you reviewed, remember that you need
to highlight the uniqueness of your study compare with previous studies, or gap of your study)
- Research framework
- Hypotheses
- Research Methodology (research design, research strategy, data collection technique, Sample or
population, variables, measurements of the variables, data collection sources).
- Those who applies primary data, cross-sectional research design, using questionnaire, you need to
explain your questionnaire, how many questions for each section: demography part and each variable.
- Research Models
- Descriptive and correlation report (you need to be able to explain the normality process and
multicollinearity issues)
- Panel option (if any)
- Results (based on the hypotheses, meaning each hypothesis one slide)
- Conclusion (you can provide a table summery your findings front of each hypothesis)
- Limitation and future studies
