MCC7500 Initial Setting Procedure (April 2022)
2) Switch off sleeping mode for display, hard drive and other devices; Disable Screen saver

Procedure:
a) Navigate to Mouse right-click on the desktop -> Personalize -> Lock screen -> Screen saver
Set Screen saver value to Blank
b) Navigate to Control panel -> Power options -> Edit Plan settings -> Change advanced power settings
c) Set “Turnoff display after”, “Sleep after” and “Turn off hard disk after” values to Never
d) Press Windows Key + R to open Run
e) Type Regedit and click OK to open the Registry Editor
f) In the Registry Editor navigate to the following location:
HKEY_USER\<folder>\Control Panel\Desktop
(<folder> is applicable to following folders #1-4 and 6th)
g) Change state to “0” for every entry related Screen save feature
h) Exit Registry Editor
i) Press Windows Key + R to open Run
j) Type GPedit.msc and click OK to open the Local Group Policy Editor
k) In the Police Editor navigate to the following location:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Personalization
l) From the right-pane set “Enable screen saver”, “Password protect the screen saver” and “Screen saver timeout”
entries to “Disabled”
m) Exit Policy Editor
Procedure:
a) Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
b) Type Regedit and click OK to open the Registry Editor.
c) In the Registry Editor navigate to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
d) Right-click on Winlogon -> New -> String value then name it DefaultUserName
e) Double-click on DefaultUserName and type <PC username> in Value data box and click OK
f) Right-click on Winlogon -> New -> String value then name it DefaultPassword
g) Double-click on DefaultPassword and type in <Password for PC user> in Value data box and click OK
h) Double-click on AutoAdminLogon and type in “1” in Edit String box and click OK.
i) Exit Registry Editor
j) Restart your computer. You can now log on automatically without entering the password.
4) Adding Elite Authentication Username and Password to Windows Registry

A Dispatch Operator can add the credentials used in the Elite Dispatch application to Windows registry to enable automatic start
of the application with no authentication required.
NOTICE: Perform this procedure only if you intend to configure the application AutoStart with no authentication required.
Procedure:
This procedure allows the Dispatch Operator to configure the Elite Dispatch application auto start so that it does not require
authentication and a selected configuration file opens upon launching.
NOTICE: This procedure should be performed on the local machine where Elite Dispatch is installed. All auto start options
require an autostart.elt configuration file created by the Administrator. This file may have different name
Prerequisites: Add the Elite Dispatch application usernames and passwords to the Windows registry (refer to paragraph 4).
Copy correct autostart.elt file to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Motorola MCC7500C\config folder
Procedure:
d) Click Next.
e) Type a name for the shortcut and click Finish.
f) Reboot the computer.
The User Login window appears with the username and password fields disabled.
After a short while, the window disappears, and Elite Dispatch is started with the specific configuration.
If there is no response from the authentication server within one minute, the following message is displayed on the status bar
at the bottom of the User Login window: “There is no response from authentication server. Elite is trying to log in again”. If the
username and password provided in the Windows registry are not correct, the following warning message is displayed: “Can’t
retrieve password for automatic authentication”.
After clicking OK, the Elite Dispatch application switches to manual authentication
