The Filipino culture of self reflects an individual's cultural perspective, which is


shaped by the environment and social factors. It shows us how we should interact with
others and our surroundings, and can determine what actions are appropriate and what is
inappropriate. Culture shapes who we are and helps us understand ourselves by observing
the habits and behaviors of people. It is important to know ourselves and develop a
positive identity. Each of us has unique emotions and thoughts that help us realize our
abilities and strengths, enabling us to become stronger each day. I possess these
personalities that support my inner me in my everyday life to move forward in spite of
difficulties. These values I represent have matured me over time, and I am proud to say
that I am content with who I am today.
