7. OUTPUTS
The module has several outputs:
• FeedBack_Out
• x1_Readout
• x2_Readout
• x5_Readout
• x10_Readout
• Expanded_Out
7.1. Feedback Output (J103)
The output of the AD625 features a one-pole Low Pass Filter with a 1.5kHz frequency. After
filtering, this signal could be directed to the servo board to serve as feedback.
It can be used as x1 readout without the low pass filter.

Here where this signal come from:

7.1.1. Feedback SETUP
In case the signal of the module is going to be used as Feedback Loop on a servo system, this signal
needs to be feed to the BUS.

This signal is directed to the servo controller feedback input.

• Jumper JP102 (Feedback Out) must be IN

• Jumper JP110 (Feedback Bypass) must be OUT

7.2. X1, X2, X5, X10 readout (J105)
Subsequently, this signal passes through the amplifier set to have X2, X5, and X10 ranges.
You can have all signals available simultaneously on the connector J105
7.3. Expanded Output (J103)
You can use a jumper to select one (X1, X2, X5 or x10) GO TRU a a three-pole Sallen-Key LOW
PASS filter with a 1kHz frequency, and be available on the CONECTOR J102 "Expanded_Out"

7.3.1. Low Pass Filter AND Jumper Selec.on

7.3.2. Jumper Selector for X1, X2, X5 or X10
7.3.3. X1, X2, X5, X10 Zero and Gain Adjustment

8. Monitor FRONT CONNECTION

Monitor various signals here.
9. SETTING UP INPUT FOR OTHER TRANSDUCERS:

9.1. LDT
1. Power Supply Configuration:
• The power supply designated for the LDT can either be +15V or ±15V.

2. Adjusting the Transducer Input:

• The input for the transducer is located at J104.
• To switch pin #1 from "Excitation" to "+15V", perform the following:
• CUT jumper SJP101.
• SHORT jumper SJP102.
• Note: In upcoming board versions, these will be replaced with removable jumpers for
easier configuration.

3. Setting the Gain:

• Ensure the gain for the AD625 is set to 1.
• This is done by removing RG.
• Note: In upcoming board versions, these will be replaced with removable jumpers for
easier configuration.
9.1.1. Connec.on for Common ground Output:
9.1.2. Connec.on for DLT with Differen.al Output:

9.1.3. Connec.on for DLT that requires ±15V power Supply:

9.1.4. Important observa.on:
è Some LDT may require a 100Ω resistor in series with output.

9.2. Pressure Transducer

Configuring Pressure Transducer Connections

Setting up and modifying a pressure transducer follows same procedure for the DLT, in section 9.1

4. Transducer Compatibility:
• The module is designed to interface with both pressure transducers that have a common
ground output and those with a differential output.
5. Power Supply Configuration:
• The power supply designated for the LDT can either be +15V or ±15V.
7. Setting the Gain:
• Ensure the gain for the AD625 is set to 1.
• This is done by removing RG.
• Note: In upcoming board versions, these will be replaced with removable jumpers for
easier configuration.
9.2.1. Pressure Transducer connec.on
9.3. Pressure Transducer with ZERO offset
Certain pressure transducers, like some models from Barksdale, exhibit an offset voltage even at 0 PSI.
Here's an illustration:
• At 0 psi: The output is 0.5V
• At full-scale psi: The output is 5.5V

Given this characteristic, there's a setup to accurately adjust the ZERO:

9.3.1. Adjus.ng the ZERO Circuit ZERO

• ZERO schema.cs

• Standard Configura.on
- The ZERO circuit utilizes the 10Vref.
- Through the combination of OP AMP U103, potentiometer P124, and resistor R117, it provides a
ZERO adjustment range of ±10% (equivalent to ±1V).
• Configuring Offset for the Transducer
- Remove jumper SJP110 and enable jumper SJP109.
- This configuration directs the ZERO control to the negative input of the AD625.
- Enable jumper SJP104.
- With this setup, P124 will adjust the desired offset for the transducer, effectively setting the ZERO
by adjusting this offset.

• Handling Nega.ve Offset

- If you require a negative offset, do not enable SJP104.
- Instead, activate jumper SJP103.
