Sample Mid-Term Test - Speaking
Tell me about a recent activity or hobby you've picked up. Why did you start it?
So, one of my favorite hobbies is running. I picked up this activity about four
years ago when I decided to make some positive lifestyle changes. Initially, it
began as a way to stay fit and active, but over time, it has evolved into
something much more meaningful for me.
I started running regularly in my local park, gradually building up my stamina
and distance. The rhythmic pounding of my footsteps, the fresh air, and the
feeling of my body in motion became incredibly therapeutic. What started as a
simple fitness routine soon turned into a form of meditation for me. The solitude
of running allows me to clear my mind, think more clearly, and relieve stress.
How do you believe learning a second language might benefit your future?
Well, I believe learning a language can enrich your life. Not only can it help
you connect with people from different backgrounds, but it can also enhance
your job prospects and give you a competitive edge in a globalized world.
Learning a language also provides cognitive benefits such as improving
memory and critical thinking skills.
Vocabulary ghi điểm:
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would you choose,
and why?
I would live in Japan if I could. I love Japanese anime, especially PriPara. I
love playing that game when I travel to Japan. After playing a round, I
sometimes get a card with a QR code that lets me download a costume for my
character. It makes the game more enjoyable.
