Test # 5 Quadratic Equations

This document contains a test on quadratic functions with 5 questions. Question 1 has students perform quadratic regressions on tables of x and y values and find the quadratic equation. Question 2 has students complete a table of x and y values, graph the parabola, and find the equation of best fit. Question 3 asks students to explain what will happen to the arms of a parabola for given intervals of the value a. Question 4 models the path of a basketball using a quadratic equation and has students calculate the height of the ball at different times and the maximum height. Question 5 is left blank.
