Background

A. The Owner has a Toyota Vitz with registration GR 4119 - 24 has agreed to
appoint the Driver and the Driver has agreed to work and pay for the
vehicle above.
B. The Owner and the Driver have agreed to enter into this contract to
record the terms upon which the Driver will use the vehicle.

The Owner and the Employee agree that:

a) The cost of the vehicle shall be GHS 1,33500.00 (ONE


HUNDRED THIRTY THREE THOUSAND GHANA CEDIS).
b) A payment on weekly basis will be GHS ............. and to
complete payment of the vehicle by 2years starting from the
day of Commencement.
c) That’s after 3Weeks, if the driver is not able to make sales,
the vehicle will be taken from him and all the monies paid
would not be refundable.
d) Date of commencement shall be the ............................
for ...............Years.
e) After the total payment above the driver shall become the
owner of the vehicle.
f) That the maintenance of the vehicle Such as change of oil,
change of tyre, thus maintenance should be cantered by the
driver.
g) That after the final payment, the vehicle document would be
transferred into the driver’s name by the Car Owner at the
drivers cost at Dvla and with a complete engine.
h) Driver will park the car at the Owners premises till........%
percent of payment is complete.
i) Driver will provide two guarantors and a Lawyer to sign and
attest on behalf of the driver,Hence, incase of theft and breach
of Contract, the guarantors will be held responsible to pay
back the cost of vehicle.
j) The driver , Lawyer and Guarantors must provide a copy of
their Ghana card, including Locations and contact numbers as
references to validate the contract.
