Abstract:
This article analyzes the opinions and scientific views of scientists and pedagogues regarding
the use of new pedagogical methods in teaching English, in particular, interactive methods and
the scientific-theoretical aspects of the factors that arouse students' interest in learning this
language, and their subjective attitude to them attitude expressed.
Keywords: interactive methods, role-playing games, brainstorming, case-study, innovative
technologies, intellectual activity.
Introduction
The rapid development of modern society forces the student to quickly learn and understand
the material, especially a foreign language. Nowadays, mastering at least one foreign language
is becoming an indispensable requirement for the professional qualification of a specialist.
Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the efficiency and quality of the process of learning
foreign languages. The most effective methods of language learning are interactive methods.
The purpose of the article is to determine the main role of interactive methods in teaching
English. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were defined: to describe the main interactive
methods and to give examples of the use of these methods.
The term "interactive" refers to people working together and influencing each other. This
situation implies a dialogue or conversation. Therefore, these methods are focused on the
interaction between students and the teacher, as well as only between students. This requires
the active role of students in the learning process.
Interactive methods are the so-called group thinking, that is, methods of pedagogical influence,
which are part of the educational content. One of the unique features of interactive methods is
that they are carried out in cooperation with the teacher and students, through joint activities.
The goal of interactive education is to create special conditions that lead to the involvement of
all students in the learning process, in which participants understand and are aware of
everything that is happening, influence each other and contribute. can add, establish friendly
and mutually beneficial relations. The most popular methods are role-playing games,
brainstorming, case-study method, presentations and discussions. They develop
communicative skills, logical thinking and various types of intellectual activities such as
analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. These student-centered methods are
particularly well-suited for engaging students more actively in acquiring knowledge, skills, and
strategies.
It is known that role-playing games make the educational process at the university more
knowledgeable and competent, improve interdisciplinary communication, connect the theory
with the real needs of the professional field, and develop the skills necessary for future

students cannot repeat what has already been said. When the music stops, whoever is holding
the ball loses. And the punishment can be different. For example, the student who loses will
have to speak for a minute about the topic given by the teacher.
An interesting interactive method that a teacher can use is the case-study method. This is a
learning technique in which the student is faced with a specific problem situation. A case study
helps to explore a real problem in a defined context, using different data sources.
Doing a case study gives students the following benefits:
1. allows students to learn in practice. Case studies enable students to solve problems faced by
decision makers and managers in real organizations without endangering themselves or the
organization concerned;
2. increases students' ability to ask correct questions in problematic situations;
3. increases the level of responsibility in preparing students to work in various fields and
organizations. This gives students the flexibility and confidence to take on different roles and
responsibilities in their careers. It also helps students make more informed career decisions;
4. Strengthens the student's knowledge of management theory by giving real examples of the
main theoretical concepts. By providing rich, engaging information about real business
situations, they bring new discussions to life;
5. reflects the reality of making management decisions in the real world. Here, students must
make decisions based on sufficient information. The cases reflect the uncertainty and
complexity that accompany most management issues;
6. helps to understand different points of view and views of other members of his team.
Undoubtedly, it serves to improve communication and interpersonal skills of students;
7. provides a holistic view of management. It involves integrating theories and concepts learned
in different functional areas such as managerial decision making, marketing and finance.
Topics that English teachers may consider include:
• planning holidays in a certain town, harmonizing the different interests of group members;
• choosing a suitable restaurant for people with different dietary requirements;
• budget-based vacation planning for a group or family in a certain direction;
• advice on reducing plastic waste in everyday life;
• advising someone to lead a healthy lifestyle;
• planning an intercultural night;
• evaluation of the brochure;
• evaluation of housing rental offers.
The task of the teacher is to create conditions for practical mastery of the language for each
student, to choose such teaching methods that allow each student to demonstrate his activity
and creativity. The task of the teacher is to activate the cognitive activity of the student in the
process of teaching foreign languages. Modern pedagogical technologies, such as collaborative
learning, project methodology, use of new information technologies, Internet resources, help
to implement a person-oriented approach in the educational process, individualize and
differentiate teaching, taking into account the abilities of children, their level of learning.

CONCLUSION
Thus, after expressing the given methods, we can conclude that interactive teaching methods
help to optimize the learning process in learning English. They help to introduce motivational
mechanisms and improve the effectiveness of teaching communication in English. The
advantages of using interactive methods in the process of teaching students are as close as
possible to the real conditions of professional activity, wide independence of students, help to
develop decision-making and self-speech skills in the conditions of creative competition.
Teaching a modern language is aimed at forming a more cultured person, who will have the
skills of self-analysis and systematization of new knowledge. Innovative methods are an
integral part of the modernization of the entire system. With this assurance, teachers can
familiarize themselves with the most advanced approaches and then integrate them and use
them in their work to achieve significant growth in the education system. Many organizations
are moving to a new level by using multimedia capabilities to send and receive information.
The use of computers and other devices determines the success of the entire educational
process. Sufficient attention should be paid to the formation of speech skills and the
development of social flexibility in the trainings conducted during the educational process. In
addition, the success of each lesson in education largely depends on the correct organization of
the training. The lesson should be based on the creative cooperation of the teacher and the
student. Only then will students be able to think independently and freely, and their will will
be trained.
