In the unending war of people versus machines, a blow was striked by a man in pennsylvania who

happen a second time. He put his card in again, this time the machine kept the card. And did not give him

the money he had requested. By now the customer was totally disgusted. Hitting the machine with all his

strength, the card still did not come back. This was the last straw he grabbed a metal trash can and

proceeded to beat up the machine. Unfortunately, the machine still had his card, and the man was later

arrested and charged with causing $2,500 worth of damage. He didn't mind. "I have been ripped off so

often, he said, "that it was time for me to get even."
