Content Validity is established through expert review and the Content Validity Index (CVI). In
the expert review process, subject matter experts evaluate the questionnaire to ensure it
comprehensively covers all relevant aspects of the topic. For the CVI, these experts rate each

item based on its relevance, clarity, and representativeness, and the CVI is calculated to
quantify the level of agreement among the experts.
Construct Validity involves using factor analysis and examining convergent and discriminant
validity. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) are
employed to assess the underlying structure of the questionnaire, ensuring it measures the
intended constructs. Convergent validity is evaluated by examining the correlations between
items that are supposed to be related, while discriminant validity looks at the correlations
between items that are supposed to be unrelated.
Pilot Testing is conducted to pre-test the questionnaire and gather feedback. The
questionnaire is administered to a small, representative sample of the target population to
identify any issues with the wording, order, or format of the questions. Feedback from the pilot
participants is collected to make necessary adjustments before the main data collection.
Statistical Analysis includes both descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics,
such as mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and range, are used to summarize the
responses. Inferential statistics, including t-tests, ANOVA, and regression analysis, help
determine if there are significant differences or relationships between variables.
These validation tools and methods ensure that research questionnaires are reliable, valid, and
suitable for achieving the research objectives.
