EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this Certificate are as follows:

Certificate covers the range of Cable glands for the type OS-E1UF / OS-E1UFWC/ OS-E1UF-EP/ OS-E1UF-MH/OS-E1UF-MC and suitable
for certified Ex d /e/tb enclosures. Glands can be made from aluminium, brass & stainless steel. Refer sizes for more details.

Aluminium material not intended for Group I.

OS-E1UF cable glands are designed to be used with both armoured & braided cable glands.

OS-E1UFWC is a variant with clamping that guide the cable.

OS-E1UF-EP/ OS-E1UF-MH is a variant that has provision for flexible hose / flexible braid conduit that are welded to the compression unit
and has no outer sealing ring. Flexible hose / flexible braid doesn’t provide any Ex protection. This is additional protection for the cable. This
variant doesn’t have provision to include clamping for armour / braid.

OS-E1UF-MH is a variant that has provision for metal hose attached to the compression unit and has no outer sealing ring. Metal hose
doesn’t provide any Ex protection. This is additional protection for the cable. This variant doesn’t have provision to include clamping for
armour / braid.

OS-E1UF-MC is a variant used for metal clad cable.

Clamping inserts allows 360° contact to the armour.Optionally lead sheath washer is provided for the electrical connection to a layer of lead or
other metallic sheath.

For Ex d protection type on a specific request, PF threads, JIS B0202 may be used. The previous edition of standard from which the thread
type requirements were applied from IEC 60079-1:2001.This allowance for the use of “other external thread types” is for the manufacture of
replacement entry devices for equipment in existing installations only, that incorporate internal thread types that are no longer permitted by the
current edition of IEC 60079-1. (IEC 60079-1, Ed.7, C.2.2.1 Threaded joints, Note 1).
