Czasownik have w znaczeniu posiadać jest statyczny,
tzn. nie występuje z czasami continuous, z końcówką
-ing.
Have ma też inne znaczenia, łączy się w kolokacje,
które wyrażają czynności i wtedy może występować z
końcówką -ing.
have: breakfast, lunch, dinner, a meal, a cold
drink, a shower, a bath, lessons/ classes

I have (got)a bath in my bathroom. (posiadam)


I’m having a bath in my bathroom. (biorę)
W języku angielskim do określania wieku
używa się czasownika być, a nie mieć.
How old are you? - dosł. Jak stary jesteś?
(czyli Ile masz lat?)
I’m ten (years old). - dosł. Jestem 10 lat
stary.
Podobnie jest z pytaniem o imię.
What’s your name? - dosł. Jakie jest twoje
