This Indian Standard (Second Revision) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards, after
the draft finalized by the Electric Welding Equipment Sectional Cc mmittee had been approved by
the Electrotechnical-Division Council.

This standard was first published in 1968 and this revision has been undertaken to make it up to
