Sweater is designed to be worn with 0 - 4 in (0 - 10 cm) of positive ease in the bust. Volkova
MATERIALS:

 US 6 (4 mm) circular needles long enough for ‘magic loop”


 stitch markers
 tapestry needle
 scrap yarn

YARN: Garnstudio DROPS Kid-Silk (75% mohair, 25% silk; 230 yards/210 meters per 25 g) 6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14
skeins (two strands of yarn are held together) or dk weight yarn

GAUGE: 24 sts x 28 rows=10 cm/4 inches in 2x2 ribbing after blocking

DIRECTIONS

CO 40/44/48/52/56/60/64/68/72 sts, pm for BOR and join to work in the round.

Next round: sm, p1, (k2, p2) to last st, p1

Work in 2x2 ribbing as established for 9 more rounds.

Set-up round: sm, p1, (k2, p2)x 4/5/5/6/6/7/7/8/8 times, pm, work in pattern to end

*Start sleeve increases as follows:

Round 1: p1, (k2, p2) to 2 sts before m, m1l, p2, sm, k2, p2, m1r, work in pattern to end (+2 sts)

Round 2: p1, (k2, p2) to 3 sts before m, m1l, k1, p2, sm, k2, p2, k1, m1r, work in pattern to end (+2 sts)

Round 3: p1, (k2, p2) to 4 sts before m, m1l, k2, p2, sm, k2, p2, k2, m1r, work in pattern to end (+2 sts)

Round 4: p1, (k2, p2) to 5 sts before m, m1l, p1, k2, p2, sm, k2, p2, k2, p1, m1r, work in pattern to end (+2 sts)

Work 10/10/9/9/8/8/7/7/6 rounds in 2x2 ribbing.

Repeat the sequence above from * 8/8/9/9/10/11/12/13/14 more times. Work rounds 1-4 one more time.

= 120/124/136/140/152/164/176/188/200 sts

Start to work back and forth as follows:

Row 1: k3, (p2, k2) to last 3 sts, k3

Row 2: p3, (k2, p2) to last 3 sts, p3

Repeat these two rows 10/12/15/19/23/25/27/29/34 more times.

Divide for front and back

Work in pattern to 2 st before shoulder m, k1, place all remaining sts


onto scrap yarn or spare needle.

Now you have 56/60/64/68/72/80/84/92/96 front sts on needles and


64/64/72/72/80/84/92/96/104 sts on scrap yarn.

Work in established ribbing for 62/66/68/70/74/76/80/82/86 rows.

Place front sts onto scrap yarn and pick up back sts.

Work as front for 58/62/64/66/70/72/76/78/82 more rows.

Join back and front as follows:

With WS facing work over back sts to shoulder m, sm, k1, attach front sts, k1, work in 2x2 ribbing to last 3 sts, p3

Continue to work as established for 21/25/31/39/47/51/55/59/69 more rows.

Join to work in the round: remove m, p1, pm for new BOR

Round 1: work in ribbing to 8 sts before m, k1, ssk, p1, k2, p2, sm, k2, p2, k2, p1, k2tog, k1, work in ribbing to m (-2 sts)
