The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar

cane.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make

My essay:
The diagram illustrates the process of sugar production from sugar cane.
Overall, there are seven different steps in the process, which can be categorized
into two stages: preparation and processing step.
The preparation stage has two steps. Firstly, sugar canes are grown and it takes
them from 12 to 18 months to mature. They are subsequently harvested in two
ways: farmers can harvest them manually or use a tractor.
Moving on to the processing step, the sugar canes are crushed in a machine to
extract the juice, preparing for the next step. Once the juice is extracted, it is
purified by using a limestone filter. After that, the juice is heated at high
temperatures, making it evaporate and turn into syrup. This is followed by the
centrifugation process, which separates sugar crystals from syrup. Finally, these
crystals are stored in a drying and cooling system, transforming into sugar and the
process finishes here.
