Sl st in the second ch from the hook.

Sc in the third ch from the hook.

Sl st in the next chain in the foundation chain, sl st.
Step 6.
Repeat steps 3-5 three times.
Step 7.
Repeat steps 3-4, sl st in the last chain in the
foundation chain.
Step 8.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Step 1.
Hold the fin so the front side is facing you. Thread a
needle with a forearm’s length of yarn, and insert it
up through the center of the magic loop from back
to front. Leave a 6-inch yarn tail.
Step 2A.
Insert needle in the middle of the stitch’s V one
round up, in round 1, directly above where you
pulled the needle out in step 1 and pull through.
Step 2B.
Hold the fin so the back side is facing you. Insert
the needle back into the center of the magic loop
one round down and pull through. You should have
one line on each side.
Step 3A.
Hold the fin so the front side is facing you. Insert
the needle one and a half stitches to the right from
where it was inserted in step 2 and pull though. It
should be an increased space from round 2.

Hold the fin so the back side is facing you. Insert

Step 1.
Flatten the tail and insert the hook under the first
two stitches across from each other, so there are
five loops on the hook.

Thread a needle with an arm’s length of yarn. Insert
the needle through the center of the magic ring
and pull it out one round up, centered between
rounds 1 and 2 on one side. Leave a 6-inch yarn tail.
Step 2.
Insert the needle in the middle of the stitch’s V two
rounds up, in round 3, centered directly above the
hole it just came out of. Pull the needle out one
stitch to the right between rounds 1 and 2 of the
first line.
Step 3.
Insert the needle one round up, between rounds 2
and 3. Pull the needle out one stitch to the left
between rounds 1 and 2 of the first line.
Step 4.
Insert the needle one round up between rounds 2
and 3. Flip the tail over and pull the needle out the
hole centered between rounds 1 and 2 on the other
side.
Step 5.
Repeat steps 2 -3.
Step 6.
Insert the needle one round up between rounds 2
and 3. Pull the needle out of the same hole in the
body that it originally went into, so that both yarn
tails are coming out of the same hole.
Step 7.
Tie a knot with both yarn tails, as close to the edge

Thread a needle with the yarn tail from the tail,
