Short Story:
Lucas was a shy boy who loved to draw. One
day, his school announced an art contest,
but he was too scared to join. His best friend
encouraged him to try, so he created a
beautiful painting. Lucas won second place,
but more importantly, he gained confidence
in himself.

Procedure:
1.Divide the class into small groups.
Each group will receive a random picture
(Setting), a Character card, and a Conflict
card.
2.Students must create a short story using
the elements they received.
3.Each group will complete a Storyboard
Worksheet, where they write:
Who is the Character?
Where and when is the Setting?
What happens in the Plot (beginning, middle,
and end)?
What is the Conflict?
What is the Theme or lesson of the story?
After writing, each group will share their
story with the class.
The teacher will ask the class to identify the
story elements in each group’s presentation.
