Are you ready to learn our new lesson class? Yes, Sir.

For today’s lesson it focuses on how to take

circumferential measurements accurately.
Circumferential measurements are taken around the
body. Sir, I think it’s the arms and hips.
• And which part of our body to be measured?
Exactly!
These are the following body parts that can be taken for
circumferential measurements. While I’m discussing
the lesson, I will also demonstrate on how to take
circumferential measurements, So, all you have to do is
to listen and observe properly so that later you will
know how to take it alone together with your partner. Yes. Sir.
Are you ready to listen class?
(Call student to read the lesson on the board)

a. Activity ( I DO)
Today, we will practice the proper measurement on
circumferential. Make sure that each of you must have a (Activity proper)
tape measure, which is very important. And of course,
you choose also your partmer so that when you do the
measurement, you can measure it with your partner and
do it alternate.
So, once again, I’m gonna show the different
circumferential measurements with its pictures and at the
same time I will demonstrate first and followed by the (Students will face their partner and do whatever

▪ WAIST
▪ HIP
▪ THIGH
▪ DESIRED BOTTOM

Great Job class!

Did you have fun? Yes, Sir.
Do you have any clarification? None, Sir.
It seems that majority of the class already mastered the
circumferential measurements.

b. Analysis (WE DO)

I will flash 5 cards with its name on different
circumferential measurements. All you have to do is
to demonstrate it together with your partner. And we
will do it alternate, of course with another 5 cards on
different circumferential measurements.

Are you ready class? Yes, Sir.

Next, let’s do the alternate.

▪ How’s your experience in measuring the Although it’s hard at first because it makes me

In this way, it will help you to master the different
measurements.
That’s true, it is hard at first but if you keep on practicing Sir, sometimes I cannot get the right measurement,
not just memorizing it you will be able to master it. because my partner cannot stay in one place.
▪ How about other students? Who wants to share
their experience in measuring the circumferential
measurements?
You will not get the exact measurement, Sir.
▪ In that case, what will happen to your
measurements if your client or partner keeps on
moving while taking body measurements?
Exactly! That is why you need to tell your client or
partner to stand up straight and no extra movement.
