 Crochet hook suitable with your

yarns (I used 2mm crochet hook)
 I use yarn size is 1.6mm. You can use
 An 8mm safety eyes
another wool that is easier to find
 Polyester, wire size 1.5 – 2mm
and compare the colors with the
 Sewing equipment, UHU glue or hot
colors I will list below.

The choice of color, thread, and needle size is entirely up to you, I'm just giving the ones that I

 Leg 2

Do the same as leg 1 from Round 1 to Round 13.

Stuff in the shoe on both feet (tight stuffed).
Continue to crochet the body.
Stop to decorate slippers. Use green yarn and make as photo.

Fasten off. Leave a long yarn to sew.

Take a 2mm wire, cut it about 22cm long, and bend it in half as shown. Then bend the wire
as shown and insert it into the body.

Take a piece of 1.5mm wire (~10cm), bend the end of the wire and insert the wire in the
arm.

 Skirt
Crochet the skirt on the 24ch from the waist down.

Join the shoulder. Crochet the border with dark blue yarn around the frontal part and collar.
Fasten off, cut the yarn.

 Sleeves (make 2)
Each sleeve is crocheted around the space for arm. Work in joined rounds, slst at the end of
each round to close the round. Join white from the bottom part of the arm (armpit), so the
increases are left at the bottom, chain 1 and start to crochet the sleeve.
Round 1: 13sc, slst to close the round, slst, ch (13)
Round 2: 12sc, inc, slst, ch (14)
Round 3: 13sc, inc, slst, ch (15)
Round 4: 14sc, inc, slst, ch (16)
Round 5: 15sc, inc, slst, ch (17)
Round 6: 16sc, inc, slst, ch (18)
Round 7: 17sc, inc, slst (19)
Fasten off, cut the yarn.
Use dark green yarn to embroider patterns as shown in the photo.

Use black yarn to make scars on his body.

Belt
With purple color, work in rows.
Row 1: Ch27 and work starting from 2nd ch from the hook, 26sc, turn, ch (45)
Row 2: 26sc (26.
Fasten off, cut the yarn. Leave a long yarn to sew.
Sew the belt to the waist.

Bun
Using green yarn, cut a piece about 8cm, then fold it and tie it with brown yarn. Attach the
bun on top of the head.

Coat
 Back:

Row 1: With dark green, starting at the bottom of

the Coat, ch 13. Hdc in 2nd ch and each ch across

Rows 2-13: Ch, turn, hdc into each st (12) [12
rows]

 Front Right Side:

Row 14: Ch, turn, hdc in next 3 sts, leave

remaining sts unworked (3)

Rows 15-26: Ch, turn, hdc in 3 sts (3) [12 rows]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

 Front Left Side:

Row 14: Join dark green yarn with a sl st from the

10th stitch of row 13.
Row 15: Ch, hdc in same st and next 2 sts (3)
Rows 16-26: Ch, turn, hdc in 3 sts (3) [11 rows]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Fold Side panels down with Rows 1 and 26
together, and seam edges with yarn tail and a
yarn needle, all the way up to 7 rows from the
top. Weave in ends.

 Sleeves (Make 2):

Join dark green yarn at side opening of coat.

Round 1: Sc around edge of opening an evenly spaced 20 sc (20)
Round 2- Round 4: 20hdc (20) [3 rounds]

Fasten off with a sl st into the next st. Weave in ends.

Crochet border with dark blue yarn all around the coat, start from the middle of the back.
(hdc on the bottom of the coat, use sc on the remaining parts, the number of stitches may
vary). Then use yellow felt, cut and glue to the coat to decorate.

I used felt to make his sword. Cut 3 long strips of white, red and black. Then cut 3 yellow
oval pieces with a hole in the middle for decoration.

Finally, if you like, use blue acrylic paint to paint the end of his yukata.
