CLASS HISTORY

Reminiscing when we began our journey, I can say that we have come this far. Like
sheep, we were so young and naive, lost in a field of dreams and opportunities. But with the help
of our mother, our beloved Alma Mater, she guided us in reaching for our dreams and aspirations
in our secondary education. Along the way, there were countless milestones, both in academic
and physical activities, for she nurtured us with wisdom and encouraged us to excel in every
opportunity that came our way. We built a bond that made us closer each time we were
confronted with challenges and failures, but most of all when we celebrated our success in all our
battles. And so, tonight let us raise a toast as we take one last look to see the beauty of our shared
past.
Looking back on Augusut 2020, it feels like yesterday, jay immuna nga set of modules,
jay immuna nga face to face classes, jay immuna nga gayyem yo, jay maykadwa, ken ejay best
friend mo nga pagselselosan ni gayyem mo. Yet, we matured physically, emotionally and
mentally. Without further ado, . Buckle up! And get ready as we look back at the timeless
memories we have gone through.

As they announced the global pandemic in March 2020, I know that we were all
disappointed because of the high expectations we had for the school year 2020 to 2021. Despite
declaring the global pandemic, our school started at August 2020 where they used to issue us
modules that we only worked and answer them when the day before the deadline. Attending
online classes through google meet, adda tay I-on na lang google account na san to iturog na
manen wennu adda sabali nga ub ubraen na, mababain tayo pay idi ta every end of the online
class agdocument jay teacher, agpaopen ti camera uray la ibaga da nga “ay anakko agopen kayo
man camera yo tapno adda plus grade yo neh”. There was also the time where teachers made
group chats used for school purposes kano ngem adda met latta kenyatayo ag chat ti sabsabali
akas kuma ti “LF or looking for kachat man nga napintas wenno nagwapo, tay agpasakar kuma
answer ti module” uray met adda lagarod answer key jay module ti likoden nga agpakpakarigat
kayo nga ibali baliktad ejay papel tapno la makita yo jay answer na. This era was where we
mostly relied on the internet for our answers rather than doing it ourselves.

But amidst this, 8th grade was just around the corner where we all got excited as they
announce the blended learning classes where we had to attend 6 hours in a day every 3 days in a
week. I still remember that each one of us ket awan pulos agsasao kenyami, naka ul ulimek
aglawlaw, mababain kam paylang ti maysa ken maysa, but with all of that we were very eager to
mingle with our new classmates uray marig rigatan kami nga agang anges kasi we are all
wearing our facemask ata nu haan automatic nga primary contact ka ti covid. With this kind of
experience we learned how to disciplined ourselves by just following the rules and regulations of
the city and our school. We are also telling to ourselves that we miss the traditional learning
wherein no facemask, no social distancing and 8 hours in a day but now kaslang may mayat jay
dati. Charooooot!

Here comes school year 2022-2023,Grade 9 kami ditoyen, this was the year that we were
all excited because we are now back to normal but with limited move not limited knowledge. We
still remember when we step again at the portals of the CBNHS Poblacion with full of memories,
malagip me ti sections me nga Pearl, Ruby, Quartz, Peridot, Selenite, Opal, Onyx, F. Amorsolo,
Einstein and Leibniz sabali sabali nga ruprupa and different attitudes and behaviour. A lot of
memories to keep.

Irugi tayo idi haan kami nag assignment ti Mathematics under maam Jennifer Mamotos,
nagpapauyo isuna for almost a week but idi birthday na napan me sinuyo, as a student we are the
person to be blamed because of this behaviour. Shout out to maam jen! Another memory to be
recognized is when Ezen and Dowell broke the jar in section Einstein nga until now naka tape
paylang idjay. Another is when Keith Ilac scolded by Mr. John Paul Pagdilao nga aginggana ita
us usaren me paylang tay question ni sir JP “ ARE YOU MOCKING ME MR. ILAC?”. Maysa
pay ket naungtan ti taga SPA F. Amorsolo because their clearance are not yet done compared to
other sections, maam Aikuh always reminding them but haan da ikaskaso isuna, despite with
those unacceptable behaviour our batch also excel in extra curricular activities, like when we
joined the competition at Robinsons representing our school with the gracefulness and good
looking grade 9 represenatives namely; Jimwel Talioaga, Christine Clemente, Katrina Enriquez,
Sheena Aladen, Nicko Pucan, Leigh Jarel Calapini, Joshuan Binala and Lhian Balina for the folk
dance competition. Also when the celebration of 125 th years of deped there was a singing contest
held at our school and Mohhamed Rizwan Rahim, represented the whole grade 9 and announced
as the champion among the 6 competitors. And in the Division level where students from regular
represented our school with pride and honor namely; Kimberly Nalupta under technical drafting,
Edrian Deniel Igne and Cherizze Kaime under cook fest who garnered 2 nd place, Vick Lorenz
Demdem and Daniel Gudoy in installment of wiring system who also had place in the said
activity.

Naka ad adu ti nakisalsalyan ti batch me uneg ken ruwar ti skwela, ti maysa nga
programa tuy uneg skwela ket tay May flower where all sections participated the said activity.
Section Selenite won the best arc and the King and Queen of grade 9 are Ashley Dadia and Ellen
Ragadi. Another is the Mr. And Ms. Intramurals 2022-2023 the participants showed confidence
to show who the grades 9 are, very competitive and confident in all aspects, the participants were
Jharen Pugat, Keil Ventura, Alheena Sabele Saguiguit, Noel Paraoan, Janinia Galarce, Kimberly
Nalupta and Maria Janesa Eclarin.

We also participated the Inter-high School Sportsfest wherein some grade 9 students
represented our school, in the cheerdance competition these are the cheer leaders, Joshua Binala
and Richwayne Rivera, maysa kuma nga powerhouse ti cheerdance ti white Lions nu haan nga
nagtalaw dagitay sinsinan kuma nga ampit tuy skwela tayo, nonetheless we garnered 1 st runner
up in cheerdance and first runner in the overall champion over 12 schools, also we give honor to
the athletes who also represented our school with the assistance of their ever supportive coaches.

Moving on to School Year 2023-2024,Grade 10 kami met dituyen there are 10 sections
that are competitive and confident in all aspects, confident in terms of competing inside and
outside the school, but with those behaviour adda met ti kaakibat na nga nakakatkatawa ken
kadramahan. Akas kuma idi inikkan clorox ni Rizwan jay lugan ni sir Zach ket kastaunay ti
pungtot na sana paylang iyulbod, maysa pay ket we are tagging our batch nga “Malas” because
we are the first pandemic babies in the CBNHS Poblacion and umuna nga batch nga ag Research
Colloquium but with the guidance of our research adviser sir Clifford, maam Usie, maam Mary
Joyce and sir Joefrey nga bila bilangen me nu manot charot nga maibag baga na, siguro mga 2
pages ti 1/2 crosswise ti maibus ti kinaadut charot nga naibaga nan. Shout out to sir Joef, Charot!
Adu pay ti aga apa ken agkikinnusilap tuy batch me but in the end agkaykaysa kami latta. Adun
to latta ti madi me malipatan tuy ing inguten me nga skwela me, kasla kuma ti angot ti classroom
ti SPA ken regular ken of course ti CR ti Chebyshev. Madi me met malipatan dagitay supportive
grade 10 class advisers namely; Maam Maryjoyce, Mamm Joceline, Maam Aja, Maam Jhen,
Maam Kaye Ann, Maam Zhindie, Sir Norman, Sir Ron, Sir JP, Maam Gillian and Maam Mhea
who always reminding us the beauty of learning. With these reminders we apply this in
competing outside the school, just like the quiz show and National Statistics Month at Robinsons
Ilocos participated by Sophia Javate, Jamaica Aguinaldo, Adrian Quibin, Dominique Villamor
and Kaithleen Gappi. Also we participated debate and speech choir who joined by Kaithleen
Gappi, Selena Banies, Maria Cecilia Ganal and Felipe Sotero II, while the speech choir was
participated by some students of grade 10, coached and supervised by sir Ronald Ventura. We
also competed Provincial Fiesta Ar-arya street dance competition at Laoag City, Ilocos Norte,
participants were from SPA and SSC 10 students. Our school also awarded as the most
Accomplished youth organization here in the province under the leadership of Van Jansen
Lazaro of 4H club and kaithleen Gappi Jamaica Aguinaldo of YES-O.

Our City also initiated the annual Interhigh school Sportsfest wherein City of Batac
National High School Poblacion bagged the overall champion for this season, awan pulos
umartap gapu ti kinalaing ken kinaanos dagituy athletes ken coaches tayo, indeed CBNHS
POBLACION IS HOME OF THE TRUE AND LEGIT CHAMPIONS, which evidently shown
to the City Meet 2024, where our school got most of the golds in the said sportsfest.

Micah Dumlao and Rizwan Rahim represented the whole stundries of CBNHS Poblacion
in terms of wit and beauty, and rizwan crowned as mr. Interhigh 1 st runner up and mica dumlao
placed 3rd runner up.

These are the experiences of batch 2024 throughout the course of their 4 years at CBNHS
POBLACION. Our happy memories are actually the result of hurts, heartaches, grief, and tears.
Our sacred eyes were drenched in a flood of tears, and our hearts were filled with grumbling as
they bore their burdens. But I'm relieved to know that we were able to make friends—people we
would cherish to the end—who we could rely on during those difficult times.

As they say, to each cherished beginnings also come to bittersweet endings. The seniors'
long, tough, and resolute journey leading up to this point will come to an end this year. High
school says goodbye, and graduation says hello.

Seniors, let's hang onto the information and principles we acquired from our beloved
Alma Mater as we move on to new chapters in our life. Juniors, may you continue on our legacy
and excel beyond us. Even though failure pulls you, give your all in whatever you do. Accept
challenges so you can experience the thrill of success. Juniors, it is now your turn because we
will soon be exiting the City of Batac National High School Poblacion blue gates.
Once more, this is the class of 2023–2024; it is our history; it is our legacy; it is our
friendship. The white and blue is something that we previously belonged to and will always be a
part of. Mabuhay batch 2023-2024
