EYES
Crochet in MR: ch2, 4 dc, sc, don't join the ring (photos 1-3)

Leave the yarn tail for sewing. Make 2.

FOLD

@natascha.zayceva
ch11, from the second chain from the hook: sl st, sc, 6 hdc, sc, sl st (photo 4)

Leave the yarn tail for sewing.

SNOUT
Begin with brown color.
1r. 6 sc in MR (6)

If you are going to glue or embroider the nose, work round 2 as follows:
2r. (3in1, sc)*3 (12)
If you are going to install a safety nose, work round 2 as follows:
Crochet pattern "Keychain Pug”

2r. 3in1, sc, ch3, skip one stitch, sc, 3in1, sc (12) - photo 5

3r. sc, 3in1, (3 sc, 3in1)*2, 2 sc (18)

4r. 2 sc, 3in1, (5 sc, 3in1)*2, 3 sc (24) - photo 6
5-6r. 2 rounds of 24 sc (24) - photos 7-8

@natascha.zayceva
HEAD
Sew on the eye spots. From the last stitch on the eye count 5 stitches - we will
work along them in the next round (photo 1), sew the rest part to the snout. Sew
the eye spots so that the last sc is on the inside, i.e., we will sew one eye with the
front side out, the other - the wrong side.

Sew the first spot after 6 stitches from the beginning of the round on the snout
along 4 stitches. Skip 4 stitches and sew the second spot along the next 4 stitches

@natascha.zayceva
(photos 2-3). Be sure to pay attention that the hole for the nose (if you made it) is in
the middle. If necessary, move the beginning of the round so that it is at the bottom
in the center.

In the next round, alternate 2 colors and crochet sc into the junction places (in the
seam) so that there are no gaps.

7r. beige: 6 sc, brown: 1 sc in the seam (photo 4), (inc, sc)*2, sc, beige: dec (1 sc
in the seam and 1 sc in the next stitch on the snout), 2 sc, dec (1 sc on the
snout and 1 sc in the seam), brown: sc, (sc, inc)*2, sc in the seam, beige: 6 sc
(32)

Cut the brown yarn, fasten off. Next crochet in beige color only.

HEAD
Decorate the snout with thin black thread. Points 1 and 2 are on the sides after
3
round 3 above 3in1 stitch. Point 3 is the center of MR. First, exit the thread through 1
2
point 1, insert the needle into point 2 and exit it through point 3, placing the black
thread under the needle (photo 1). Then make a stitch 2 rounds up (photo 2).

Install a safety nose into the hole and fix with a washer or glue the lower corner
right above MR. I like the expression of the snout with the glued nose better. For

@natascha.zayceva
this, I cut off the stem of the safety nose.

Stuff tightly as you go.

8r. 5 sc, inc, 5 sc, (inc, sc)*5, 5 sc, inc, 5 sc (39) - photo 4
9r. 16 sc, (inc, 2 sc)*3, 14 sc (42)
10-15r. 6 rounds of 42 sc (42)
16r. (5 sc, dec)*6 (36)
17r. (4 sc, dec)*6 (30)
18r. (3 sc, dec)*6 (24)
19r. (2 sc, dec)*6 (18)
20r. (sc, dec)*6 (12)

21r. dec*6 (6)

Leave a long end for needle sculpting.

5
@natascha.zayceva
DECORATION
Make eyes needle sculpting. First, pull the hole at the back through the front loops to
close and exit the thread through one of the pins (photo 1), then insert the needle into the
second point (photo 2) and exit it through the center on the back of the head and pull the
thread, making a very small depression. Move 1 sc on the back of the head, insert the
needle and make the same needle sculpting near the snout itself (photo 3). Pull the
second eye in this way. Fix the thread, hide it inside. At the back you will also get a small
depression after needle sculpting (photo 6).

@natascha.zayceva
Glue the eyes to the center of the brown spot and right next to the snout (photo 7).

Embroider the whites of the eyes on the sides with a white thread (photo 8).

6
@natascha.zayceva
DECORATION
Crochet the eyelids above the eyes, insert the hook under the
stitches on the border of beige and brown colors (photo 1).

Right eyelid: start under the eye - make ch1 (photo 2), then
from the next stitch crochet 5 sc almost to the muzzle - photo 4

Leave a small yarn end. Insert the needle at the edge of the snout

@natascha.zayceva
and exit it through above the eyelid (photo 5). Next, hide the
remaining visible brown stitches above the eyelid with one stitch
(photos 6-7). Fix the thread, hide the ends inside.

Left eyelid: start from the inner side (photo 8) and crochet in
the same way to the lower edge of the eye.

Using the remaining thread, hide the brown stitches between the
eyelid and head.

Next, using sewing pins, fix the fold above the nose so that the
edges are located near the edge of the snout and slightly below the
eyes, and the front edge of the fold is located near the nose. Sew

the fold through the foundation chain with the wrong side up
(photos 11-12).

EARS
Make 2.

Leave the yarn tail for sewing.

1r. ch8, from the second chain from the hook 7 sc (7)
2r. 7 sc (7)
3r. dec, 5 sc (6)

@natascha.zayceva
4r. 4 sc, dec (5)
5r. dec, 3 sc (4)
6r. 2 sc, dec (3)
7r. dec, sc (2)
8r. dec (1)

Leave the small yarn tail. Photo 1.

Using the remaining thread at the beginning, sew the ears after round 6 from the end of
the head (photo 2), with the “straight” side inward (as per photo 1). Between the ears on
top - 7-8 sc. Fix the threads and exit them through somewhere under the ear, leave it for
now (photo 3).
Crochet pattern "Keychain Pug”

Pass the remaining second thread under the stitches 3-4 rounds back (photo 4). Sew the
ears with one stitch to the head so that the tips are above the middle of the eyelids. Exit
the thread through the same place where the first thread is (photo 6), tie the ends in a
knot and hide in the head.
