MORPHOPHONEMIC ANALYSIS Catalan (Spain) When you work on an assignment, always go back to the data in earlier sections. This will allow you (i) to revise your analysis in earlier sections on the basis of the new data and (ii) to consider the earlier data in your proposal for the section you are working on. At the end, everything must fit together. a. Go over the entire data in this assignment and provide the phonetic chart of the consonants.

The number of rows/columns does not necessarily correspond to the number of the required features. [r] is a voiced alveolar trill, and [] is a voiced postalveolar affricate.

Consider the gender paradigm of Catalan adjectives (Ms.Sg. = masculine singular, Fm.Sg. = feminine singular). Notice that the root final consonants alternate in 9-19 but not in 1-8.
