Above All Others C'Tan may not join friendly unit and may be picked out by enemy shooters even if within 6" of other targets. Curse Of The Omnissiah The Dragon possesses the power to damage vehicles with only a touch. Instead of normal attacks in close combat, The Dragon may inflict a penetrating hit with a +1 to the roll (as if from an AP 1 attack) against every vehicle or walker in combat with The Dragon. Deceive In the shooting phase, The Deceiver can visit an enemy unit with visions of their destruction realistic enough to shake the bravest. The power has a range of 24. The unit must take a either a morale test (as if 25% casualties had been suffered) or a pinning test at the whim of The Deceiver. Dragon Claws The Dragon can rend a unit apart with little effort. The Dragon gains 3D6 bonus attacks in the first round of close combat. If The Dragon wins combat then all enemy models within 12" must make a Morale test. If the test fail, then for each point the unit failed by the unit takes one wound with no saving throw of any sort (including invulnerable saves) allowed, as the enemy decides it is better to die now than let The Dragon get its claws on them. Dragon's Breathe The Dragon can manifest a power that slowly melt the flesh of his victims or melts vehicles with equal ease. This power can be used in shooting phase even if engaged into close combat. Weapon Range Str AP Type Dragon's Breathe template 5 3 Assault 1 Drain Life A C'Tan close combat attacks drain the life energy from its opponents. There are no saving throw of any sort (including invulnerable saves) allowed against a C'Tan. Dread If not in close combat, The Deceiver, may on the Necron assault phase, instead of moving into close combat, affect the perception of a single model within 24", to perceive a terrifying surroundings. The model must take a Leadership test and if the model fails the test the model only hits in close combat on the roll of a 6. This does not affect any model with no Leadership or Fearless models. Etheric Tempest In the beginning of the enemy Assault Phase, after moves have been made but before any blows are struck, The Nightbringer may harness an etheric wind which hurls opponents away. Any enemy unit (not vehicles) with a model within 6" and which doesn't consist entirely of models with unmodified Strength 4 or more must move 2D6 directly away from The Nightbringer. Gaze Of Death The Nightbringer eyes blaze with dark fire draining the life energy of victim. The Nightbringer may choose to use the Gaze Of Death instead of attacking normally in close combat. Place the Ordnance Template over The Nightbringer. Any model entirely beneath or partially beneath the Ordnance Template are automatically hit. Every model hit takes a Strength 6 hit with no saving throw of any sort (including invulnerable saves) allowed against the Gaze Of Death. Grand Illusion The Deceiver uses a powerful illusion to trick an army into whatever The Deceiver need, or finds humorous. An army with The Deceiver may Seize the Initiative on the roll of a 4+. If this roll fails or if the Necron army is going first, you may redeploy a D3 units (friend or foe) on the table. This redeployment must follow all of the normal deployment rules. Greater Manifestation Despite being contained within the Necrodermis, the C'Tan is a living god. Any unit wishing to assault the C'Tan must take a Morale test. If the test failed, the unit's nerve cracks in the face of ageless evil and may not make an assault that turn. Immune To Natural Law The C'Tan are able to bend reality around them to a varying degree. They can walk on air, pass through solid objects, and generally show off. C'Tan ignore all difficult, dangerous, or impassable terrain (but cannot end there movement within the terrain). The C'Tan also count as having Assault and Defensive Grenades. Lightning Arc In shooting phase The Nightbringer can project an energy blast through his scythe. Weapon Range Str AP Type Lightning Arc 24" 10 2 Assault 1 Lightning Arc 6" 10 2 Assault 6 Master Of The Warp The Outsider is capable of pulling at the fabric that holds reality and the warp together. This is a shooting attack, that can be used with one of the following profiles. Weapon Range Str AP Type Warp Breath template 6 2 Assault 1 Warp Burst 18" 6 3 Assault 1 Small Blast Warp Storm 8" 6 4 Assault 1 Large Blast Misdirect The Deceiver may on an opponents assault phase, before any blows are struck, choose to leave close combat and move 2D6" in any direction. The Deceiver will leave an illusion in its wake to occupy and frustrate the enemy. All models remaining in close combat, if able to, may make a consolidation move at the end of combat. Necrodermis In their normal state, C'Tan are immense energy beings. However, when they walk among mortals, they are clad in a Necrodermis which binds their essence. A C'Tan has an Invulnerable save of a 4+. If a C'Tan looses all wound or is otherwise removed as a casualty, then the Necrodermis is breached and the essence of the C'Tan is released. This inflicts a S6 hit on every model within 6" and a S10 hit on every model in base contact. There are no saving throw of any sort (including invulnerable saves) allowed against the breach of the Necrodermis. Against attacks that inflict instant death, the C'Tan will take a single wound with no save allowed. Teller Of Fate The Outsider looking moments into the future, gains an insight of what is to come. The Outsider 4+ invulnerable save is improved by 1. Warp Reality The Outsider is able to manipulate reality more than the other C'Tan, and use it as a weapon. The Outsider may bend reality against an enemy unit within 36". Roll to hit each model in the unit. Models hit are wounded on a 4+, vehicles take a Glancing Hit on the roll of a 6. Armour saves are taken as normal.
Unknown Horror Certain C'Tan, The Dragon and The Outsider, are not known to the galaxy, and has only recently begun moving throughout the galaxy. In
games that use Kill Points, the C'Tan with this rule counts as a casualty unless all enemy HQ's are removed as casualties before the game ends.
Necron Armoury
Barbed Tail A Barbed Tail is a special close combat weapon. All models in base contact with the model loose a single attack. Disruption Field Disruption fields are used in assaults against vehicles and walkers. Any hit inflicted on the target by a unit equipped with disruption fields will score a glancing hit on a D6 roll of a 6 regardless of the vehicle's or walker armour value in exactly the same was for ranged gauss weapons. Destroyer Body The model is mounted on a otherwise unarmed Destroyer platform. The model moves as if mounted on a jet bike and gets a +1 Toughness. Gauss Weapon Technology Gauss weapons are horrifying devices that can strip a target down molecule by molecule and reduce it to its constituent atoms in a matter of seconds. Against troops, any roll to wound of a 6 automatically causes a wound regardless of Toughness. Against vehicle and walkers, if a 6 is rolled to damage the vehicle or walker, the vehicle or walker suffers a single glancing hit. Weapon Range Str AP Type Gauss Blaster 24" 5 4 Assault 2 Gauss Cannon 36" 6 4 Heavy 3 Gauss Flayer 24" 4 5 Rapid Fire Gauss Flux Arc 12" 5 4 Heavy D6* Heavy Gauss Flux Arc 18" 6 3 Heavy D6* Heavy Gauss Cannon 48" 9 2 Heavy 1 * These weapons roll to wound against every target in range. Gaze Of Flame A model and unit the model belong to gain the benefits for having Assault and Defensive Grenades. In addition, all enemy models in close combat with the Gaze Of Flame suffer a -1 Leadership penalty, in addition to any other modifiers. Lightning Field Powerful arcs of energy link the model and any model the unit joined. For every wound inflicted on the unit with the Lightning Field in close combat by the enemy unit or independent character, a single Strength 3 hit (with no AP) will be struck back as they are burned and shocked. The Lightning Field attacks are resolved immediately and will hit the enemy that triggered them. Living Armour This armour is made from the same material as a C'Tan Necrodermis. The armour grants the model a 3+ armour save. Nightmare Shroud The Nightmare Shroud may be activated in shooting phase instead of firing a weapon. Every enemy unit with a model within 12" of the model with the Nightmare Shroud must take a morale test. If the unit fails they will immediately fall back (as if they took 25% casualties). Particle Projector A Particle Projector uses advanced technology to deliver a pulse of ionic energy, shooting atoms at the speed of light, shredding all targets within range. A Particle Projector can also be used in close combat as power weapon. If used in close combat you may not gain an extra attack unless you use a Twin Linked Particle Projector. Weapon Range Str AP Type Particle Projector 24" 5 4 Assault 6 Particle Whip A Particle Whip uses a similar technology to the Particle Projector. This weapon fires an explosive charge of ionic energy at extreme range. Weapon Range Str AP Type Particle Whip 60" 6 4 Ordinance 1 Phase Shifter A model with a Phase shifter gains a 4+ invulnerable saving throw. Phylactery When a Necron with the Phylactery attempts a self-repair roll, instead roll the following chart instead. D6 Result 1-2 the model is removed as a casualty as normal 3 the Gold Level Lord is removed as a casualty as normal the Platinum Level Lord regains a wound 4 the Gold Level Lord regains 1 wound the Platinum Level Lord regains 2 wound 5 the Gold Level Lord regains 2 wound the Platinum Level Lord regains 3 wound 6 the Gold Level Lord regains 3 wound the Platinum Level Lord regains 4 wound Rail Blaster Even the Tau have only begun to scratch the surface when compared to the Necron's Rail Blaster. The Rail Blaster fires at a slightly shorter range than other rail weapons, due to the shorter barrel length, but the ability to move and shoot the Rail Blaster makes up for its failings. Weapon Range Str AP Type Rail Blaster 54" 10 1 Assault 1 Resurrection Orb A model with a Resurrection Orb is able to augment the self-repair systems of Necrons within 6" (including the model holding the Resurrection Orb itself). All Necrons within 6" may attempt the We'll Be Back rolls even if they were damaged by weaponry that caused instant death or close combat attacks that allow no armour save. Set Of Claws A Set Of Claws is a pair close combat weapon. Set Of Talons A Set Of Talons is a special close combat weapon. If a model with these weapons charges into close combat, then the model gains a bonus of a D3+1 instead of the usual 1. A single Talon grants bonuses as if the model has a Set Of Claws instead. Solar Pulse
The solar pulse is used at the beginning of the Necron players turn. If the Night Fight rules are in effect, then all Necron models with 24" gain the Acute Vision Universal Special Rule. If Night Fight rules are not being used then all Necrons within 24" gain the Stealth Universal Rule. Staff Of Light A Staff Of Light is a weapon of ancient arcane technology. It fires devastating blasts of energy. This weapon can also be used in close combat as a power weapon that grants a +2 to the user Strength. Soulless Armour This armour though identical to Living Armour has been altered by the presence of the Pariah that wear it. The armour grants the model a 3+ armour save and gains a 5+ invulnerable save. Veil Of Darkness
A model with the Veil of Darkness can activate it at the start of movement phase instead of moving normally. The model and up to one Necron unit within 6" of it be removed from the table and placed anywhere on the table using the Deep Strike Rules. The Veil Of Darkness can even be used on a unit in base contact with enemy model. The unit will be left behind and does not get a consolidation move. Also if a when the unit Deep Strikes, if Deep Striking within 6" of another Veil Of Darkness the unit will not scatter. Warscythe Warscythes are made from the same living metal as the hulls of Necron ships and the C'Tan Necrodermis. They have phase blades that slip effortlessly through the most powerful armor. It can cut through the barrel of a Leman Russ or carve a hole in the side of a bunker, as easy as it moves through the air. There are no saving throw of any sort (including invulnerable saves) allowed against Warscythes, and when attacking vehicles, 2D6 + Strength is rolled for armour penetration.
