Lagna Bhava

Tanu Bhava phala


सपापो देहपोऽष्टारिव्ययगो देहसौख्यहृत् ।
के न्द्रे कोणे स्थितोऽङ्गेशः सदा देहसुखं दिशेत् ॥ १॥
If lagna Lord is with Malefics in 6th ,8th or 12th the Comfort of the Body is lost
If lagna lord is in Kendra or Trikona the body comfort will always be there.

Notes:- If Lagna lord is in 6th,8th or 12th house along with a Krura graha then
there be physical discomfort. There has to be Krura graha with lagnadhipathi,
lagna lord alone in Dusthana will not give negative results.
If he is in a Kendra or Trikona and even if associated with Krura graha there
will be no trouble to the physical well being.
लग्नपोऽस्तङ्गतो नीचे शत्रुभे रोगकृ द् भवेत् ।
शुभः के न्द्रत्रिकोणस्था सर्वरोगहराः स्मृताः ॥२॥
If lagna lord is Combust, Debilitated or in enemy sign disesase’s will come
If Benefics occupy Kendra and Trikona Sign all the disease will be gone.

Notes:- If Kendras or trikonas are occupied by benefics, then it is like an antidote


to the above mentioned verses. It dosen’t mean that the person will not get any
disease, if lagna lord is with a malefic in 8th house the person will get disease in
its dasha, when the Dasha of a benefic operates the disease will be gone.
Note:-

Natural Malefics-Krura- Mars, Shani, Krishna Chandra, Sun, Rahu, Ketu


Natural benefics- Saumya-Guru, Shukra, Budha (Unafflicted), Vrudhi Chandra.

Functional malefics- Papa Graha- 6th,8th,12th Lords.

Notes:-
 Parashara Uses Krura and Sowmya for Natural Malefics and Benefics.
 Shubha and Papa graha for functional malefics and Benefics.
लग्ने चन्द्रेऽथव क्रू रग्रहैर्दृष्टेऽथवा युते ।
शुभदृष्टिविहीने च जन्तोर्देहसुखं न हि ॥ ३॥
If Lagna or Moon is with or aspected by Krura Graha
Without any benefic aspect the organism will have no physical comfort.

लग्ने सौम्ये सुरूपः स्यात् क्रू रेरूपविवर्जितः ।


सौम्यखेटैर्युते दृष्टे लग्ने देहसुखान्वितः ॥ ४॥
If a Lagna is associated with Natural Benefics the person will be Good looking,
Natural malefics will not give good appearance.
If Natural benefics occupy or aspects lagna there will be physical comforts.

Notes:- Parashara Uses Krura and Sowmya for Natural Malefics and Benefics.
Shubha and Papa graha for functional malefics and Benefics.
लग्नेशो ज्ञा गुरुर्वाऽपि शुक्रो वा के न्द्रकोणगः ।
दीर्घायुर्धनवान् जातो बुद्धिमान् राजवल्लभः ॥ ५॥
If the Lagna lord Budha, Guru, Shukra are in Kendra or trikona
Then native will be long lived, wealthy , Intelligent and shall be liked by King.

लग्नेशे चरराशिस्थे शुभग्रहनिरीक्षिते ।


कीर्तिश्रीमान् महाभोगी देहसौख्यसमन्वितः ॥ ६॥
If Lagna lord is in a chara Rashi and aspected by a functional benefic
The person will be famous, wealthy, he will have great enjoyment with
physical comfort
बुधो जीवोऽथवा शुक्रो लग्ने चन्द्रसमन्वितः ।
लग्नात् के न्द्रगतो वाऽपि राजलक्षणसंयुतः ॥ ७॥
If Budha, Guru or Shukra is in Lagna with Moon
Or If they are in Kendra from Lagna the person will have features of a King
ससौरे सकु जे वापि लग्ने मेषे वृषे हरौ ।
राश्यंशसदृशौ गात्रे स जातो नालविष्टितः ॥ ८॥
If Shani, Mars with Lagna is in Mesha, Vrushabha or Simha in Rashi or Amsha
The child born will have placenta coiled around the neck
चतुष्पदगतो भानुः परे वीर्यसमन्विताः ।
द्विस्वभावगता जातौ यमलाविति निर्दिशेत् ॥ ९॥
When Sun is Situated in a Quadraped sign and others are planets
are in Dual Sign with strength the child born is one of the twins.

रवौन्दू एकभावस्थावेकं शकसमन्वितौ ।


त्रिमात्रा च थिभिर्मासैः पित्रा भ्रात्रा च पोषितः ॥ १०॥
When Sun and Moon are in the Same Rashi and amsha, the person will have
three mothers for three months and afterwards will be raised by father and brother.
एवमेव फलं वाच्यं चन्द्रादपि सदा बुधैः ।
अथ जातनरस्याङ्गे व्रणचिह्नादिकं ब्रुवे ॥ ११॥
Predictions Should be made in the same way from the Chandra
Now I shall Explain the Identity marks on the body.

Note:- As the effects are studied from the Janma lagna or Ascendant, the sage
indicates here to study these in the same way from Chandra lagna.
शिरो नेत्रे तथ कर्णौ नासिके च कपोलकौ ।
हनूर्मुखं च लग्नाद्या तनावाद्यदृकाणके ॥ १२॥
Head, eyes, ears, nose and cheeks
Chin and face are indicated by 1,12,11,10,9,8,7 houses respectively when 1st drekkana rises.

मध्यद्रेष्काणगे लग्ने कण्ठोंऽसौ च भुजौ तथा ।


पार्श्वे च हृदये क्रोडे नाभिश्चेति यथाक्रमम् ॥ १३॥
When the Middle (or second) drekkana rises Neck, Shoulders, arm,
Side, heart, stomach, and naval are to be seen.

वस्तिर्लिङ्गगुदे मुष्कावूरू जानू च जंघके ।


पादश्चेत्युदितैर्वाममङ्गं ज्ञेयं तृतीयके ॥ १४॥
Pelvis, anus and penis, testicles, thigh, knee, calf and
foot when the third drekkana rises.

1st House  Head Neck Pelvis

2nd House  Right Eye Right Shoulder The genital

3rd House Right Ear Right Arm Right Testicle/Ovary

8th House Left Jaw Left Chest Left Calf

Notes:-
To consider as to which limb of the Natives body will have ulcer , injury , Kumar ,
identification mark, mole , wart etc.
The ancient Indian sages said three portions of the body based on Drekkana rising
and regard it the lagna as representatives of various organs of the body .
If the lagna falls in the first Drekkana (1°-10°),Then it shows the organs in the head
region.
If the lagna falls in the second Drekkana it shows organs below the neck and above
the navel.
Is the lagna falls in the 3rd Drekkana it shows organs below the navel and foot
region.
यस्मिन्नङ्गे स्थितः पापो व्रणं तत्र समादिशेत् ।
नियतं सबुधैः क्रू रैः सौम्यैर्लक्ष्म वदेद् बुधः ॥ १५॥

If the Bhava of Limbo is occupied by malefic planet, the learned astrologer should
tell that it will have ulcer and if it is occupied by malefic planets, it will certainly
have ulcer and if it is aspected by benefics the limbs will have only scars
