LESSON 3

How to make Pancakes

● Whisk dry ingredients together


● Melt butter and warm milk (we use the microwave)
● Whisk wet ingredients together
● Combine the dry and wet ingredients
● Cook on a hot buttered frying pan
How to make a Sheperd’s Pie

• Peel, cut and boil 3 large potatoes


• Chop one medium onion, and 2 carrots
• Sauté the onions, carrots, peas and corn
• Add 1 pound of ground beef. Season with salt and pepper
• Add ½ a cup of beef broth and let it simmer
• Mash the cooked potatoes with a fork, and season with salt and pepper
• Layer the meat mixture and mashed potatoes in a casserole dish
• Bake for about 30 minutes

Whisk dry ingredients together

Chop one medium onion, and 2 carrots
